Sex and weight loss
I saw this show on Oprah and she had Dr Oz on there.
He said that if you have regular sex with a loving partner that you release hormones that make you feel good and those hormones also make hunger reduced.
When Dr. Oz said healthy, monogamous sex can help you lose weight, viewers wrote in with lots of questions.
First, Dr. Oz wants to clear up a misconception that sex burns a lot of calories. In fact, sex only burns about 25, equal to half a slice of bread.
Instead, Dr. Oz says the real value of meaningful sex—not recreational sex—comes from the release of a hormone called oxytocin, which makes you feel community, love and empathy. "That is incredibly important because besides lowering your blood pressure, what it does is it tells your gut not to send signals to the brain to eat. So it's a wonderful tool to get you where you want to be," Dr. Oz says. Losing weight then tends to increase your sex drive, he says.

Funny you mention that.... (funny as it is... ) but a lady actually asked the exact smae thing. Dr Oz said that 'self loving' wouldn't have the same result because it is the emotional connection that brings the hormone that inhibits the hunger desire.
Maybe we just need to find a socially acceptable way to release Oxytocin on cue when the binge urge hits.
Em
Now I have made a quick calculation and....
One single slice of The Cheesecake Factory's Original Cheesecake contains almost 800 calories and a massive 49 grams of fat (28 of them saturated, or 50 percent more than is recommended maximum per day).
So apparently I just need to have sex 32 times to wear it off...
WHAT!!!!!
NOTE TO SELF: "Stay away from the cheesecake..."
