Tip--don't treat grown women like adolescents...it would go a long way with how well you get along with folks.

Sounds like you weren't allowing yourself to see it, IMHO. Enough tit for tat.

"ANd I have always had empathy for all here, otherwise I wouldn't have offered the information critical to their success..."  I didn't take that sentence the same way you did Shari. I took it as this.....She was saying that she cared for all here so she felt that she would share her info with everyone else so maybe some of us could learn and grab pieces of what she is doing. Maybe not the whole thing, but I have grabbed pieces from what she does that has helped me. I didn't take it as her taking credit for everyones losses or anything. Because I don't think she would even have that cross her mind...because everyone knows, each person is responsible for their own success. See....we all interpret things differently.

It's not "my" information that's critical to their success, it's that what I learned WILL work for all and is completely different than what most think when they think weight loss.  And what most think, doesn't work all that well, does it.  So why not share such important information?  Do with it as you will...

On the bright side, as hurt as I am, I heard some positives in the meeting. From the boss:  I greatly admire you.  You have a fire I have never seen in anyone before.  You work harder than anyone I've ever known.

From Ian:  I am nothing but proud of you and I still am with you for your goals.  I want you to know that what you do has an influence on others and how hard you work has pushed the others to work that much harder and brought them to great heights. It ended with a handshake and a potential to work again in the future. But much cooling down and healing is needed here.

Say...hmm 3 months go by right, you and Ian decide to do 1-1 training again. Wouldn't it be awkward from what all had happened?

I won't predict the future.  Maybe he'll grow some.  So much of this is due to his immaturity. What I foresee--the Challenge ends in 2 weeks or so, Those will be anxious and awkward days (how can I not feel awkward!), but I won't let that get in my way.  I've always been about business--work as damn hard as possible.  (Only difference is I have a heart.)   Anyway, in those 2 weeks, I'll be adding Karissa in and I just texted her to set up a time to map out 1-1 goals, etc (and let's set ground rules!).  Unless I pull a surprise and win the challenge, I will likely only win 3rd.  I never knew my lower bodyfat and muscularity would be a hindrance!  Anyway, the team has anticipated sharing the reward and I will partake, but only p/t as I see it.  Then when that's over I'll work solo for good. Why this couldn't have just been like my classes (go, do, smile, leave) instead of high school antics with all the gossip. Do you know, one or more of the team went to him with their thoughts on me????  And I'm the one with boundary issues?  He was influenced by their words, not mine.  And wrongfully so.

The weird thing about boundaries is that while he may have felt I crossed some, I did nothing different than the other teammates did.  They were perhaps truly rawdy in their jokes, when mine were more reserved; he shared this that and the other thing with them, yada yada yada. The only reason boundaries with me was an issue was because he had a misperception of me/my intent.  All he had to ask was, do you have a thing for me?  We need for that to not exist. And I would have told him it wasn't on my radar. Very hard to not be allowed to be with him as you see others behaviors.  KWIM?
