Ouch, now what is this and everyone with GS cookies!  ((slaps hand)).  They are selling them in the grocery store where I do all my shopping.  I just cringe and run past them.ha  Ya know, I know it's been something they have done for years, but why prompt them to do it more when we know it's not right.  Why can't they sell something else.  GS really needs to get on the ball just like all the restraunts, etc., and come up with a "healthy" type of item, at least to sell along with the other bad stuff!

Anyways, what I came on here to say before I got all worked up about GS.....hehe   I personally think the first few weeks is tough on Core.  Just like on Atkins you go through withdrawals I swear.  Makes you want to binge.  I know I've been feeling it, and fighting it!  I'm still tweaking my plan to figure out what works best for me.  I think I have came up with a solution on one thing.  I've already told you I'm not counting points, but if I ever need them I'll figure it out then if I really need to splurge on them.  Well, this weekend I realized that I crave things REALLY bad on weekends.  Here I always blame it on my family for being home, when I think it's all me!  I remembered losing my weight a long time ago and I remember I splurged ONE time a week, ONE meal..whatever I want.  I think I'm gonna give this a shot again, it worked wonders for me before, think I'll try it again.  I'm sure it won't be over the 35 allowance points anyways, and it will make me feel better knowing that I still can have "anything" I want. I started thinking about when I was using the points and gaining while using them it was over the whole weekend, just not a meal.   I just have to learn how to control my cravings and work it into my allowed meal once a week.  I like this thought, just hope it works! :)  Heck , this way I could even work one or two cookies in my meal if I wanted too.  But I think I'll do it like the carbohydrates diet, you have to eat it all within the meal.   Otherwise I know it wouldn't work for me.  It's worth a shot!

Okay...I figured out my points....9 points for those freakin GS cookies and 3 for my sweet potato.  I'm not sure about the veggie patch pizza but it was appetizer size on something like a matzah (sp?) wafer (but cheesy).  I didn't go above my alloted 35 bonus points for the week, I'm sure....the damage is what I did to my psyche!  It just triggers so much GUILT and SHAME...why do we do that to ourselves?  If I could get past the "doing good" and being bad" thoughts......  Guess mostly I felt bad about eating all those carbs.
