It does, but it's not supposed to. I was playing around with it earlier. I wanted it to be "cltdba (CHRiS)" but it hasn't taken the latest change. :( Heck, I've changed it 3 times since then. I think something has gone wrong with their database and it's stuck at pre-op.
I suppose I'm not officially pre-op in that I don't have a date. I'm definitely gonna do it so I am a pre-op...Just a lot further out. :P

Chris,
I looked it up. Those anti-thyroid numbers are what I thought they were. Your body is fignting your thyroid like it is invading your body. Check out this link: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/hashimotos-disease/DS00567
That sounds like an auto-immune thing. Allergies are auto-immune because they attack normal substances like they are the enemy.
What do they plan to do to treat it?
Yep, you got it! There isn't anything that can be done unfortunately.. well at least there is no cure. The treatment is to take artificial T4 (levothyroxine/synthroid). I feel like there has to be other treatments available to stop the anti-bodies but if I understand it correctly, increasing the T4 can cause the anti-bodies to slow because the proteins that are released by your thyroid "or something else" is what causes the antibodies to attack. Confusing to me at this point..which is why I want to see an experienced endo about it.

Be sure your doctor specifies the brand. The generic is definitely inferior in the thyroid medication.
Now I wonder if that is the syndrome that caused my hypothyroidism years ago.
