I've stopped "donating" my $$$ to the gym
Great ACM! Each day, challenge yourself. Raise the incline and the speed, however incrementally. Piece of advice--you'll see folks on the treadmill for an hour. Not the ones to learn from. WASTE OF TIME. If you work toward pushing hard, you can get out of 10 minutes what others do in an hour and it will majorly benefit you. All my working up to stuff was inch by inch, small steps (increases in duration, resistance, speed, etc.).
Thanks!
I sort of did that today. I started out at 2.0mph, then gradually increased it to 3.5. towards the end I went back dow to 2.5. I'll add the incline, but I have to make sure it won't strain my knees or back. It might at my present weight, but I'm sure the more I lose, the more I'll be able to vary the routine.
whew! thought you quit!!!! ok, we're okay... hey 1.5 is a starting place.
And...don't even b trippin...everybody is so wrapped up in how they all look that your **** ain't even a question.
You just go, and be...and laugh and try to be in it with all of them. We all have our own struggles, them, you, me.
I am glad you did not quit.
