Did you exercise today???

So far, 6:00am bike 50 minutes 4:00pm bike 50 minutes Will do 20 more minutes before bed.  So total of 2 hours:-)   I love the way those endorphins kick in around 30 minutes into the session:-) Lisa

I finally made it to 30 minutes on my stationary bike. I manage 4.5 miles in that time so I think I am doing pretty good for one month into this. I'm going to try to add another 15-30 minutes within the next month but I want to develop a good steady routine before I pu**** further.  Kag I know you do a recumbent bike. Which would you rather do,  the recumbent or a standard stationary? I'm just curious how much difference there is or if you know. Thanks. Beth

yea... 30 minutes on the treadmill - another 15 on the bike 45 minutes of supersets (avoiding anything having to do with my back.. so Bi's (I hate bi's) and tri's. Is cooking and doing laundry and washing dishes considered exercise??  LOL

Beth, I don't really know the difference.  I got the recumbant bike because it had a nice wide seat for my butt-lol!  I don't think there is any difference in the amount of calories burned, but am not really certain. Once I lose another 20lbs, I'll be able to get on my treadmill.  Then I'll probably walk 30 minutes & bike 90 minutes a day. Lisa

Yes! :) I did exercise. I did hair for 11/12 hours. Which is a workout because i am standing but the real work out is washing the hair over the tub..i am in a weird position which works my muscles hardcore in my legs lol.  But I did find an older DVD of mine. Dance Party by Crunch. I popped it in But after a good 20 minutes I lost coordination! I was PISSED lol....I just couldn't follow the girl I'm like oh man!  Then I did 40 Knee Tucks :) Burned like hell but felt good to do them.

one hour early morning wog Mon & Tues Wed:  10 minutes yoga, ball crunches, tonight an hour wog in hills.

Today is my day of rest. Ahhhhh. I thought last night, oh maybe I'd get up and go to a swim class, but usually on rest day I can't make myself do anything.

An extra 2.5 hours of glorious sleep.

So grateful that rest is encouraged for training (rest and repair)!
