Trouble with binging

I suffered daily from all that you describe - add in purge to that list on top of it. Purging, insane tho it is, was a "solution" in my sickmind to eating waaay too much all the time.  Just filling a hole in my soul is what it was all about. Well, then again, not exactly all about my soul.  After I dealt with some of the emotional drivers, i did realize that I did not eat right - ever! So in a very physical sense, my body was literally overfed yet undernourished.  I researched how binge disorder was treated and found that the addition of (especially) leafy greens, fresh fruits, whole grains, lean meats low fat dairy, good fats should be eaten every day - and in normal amounts.  See, what I am saying is you need to let go of weight loss at this point entirely and first teach yourself how to eat. A bingers mind is stuck in weight loss when it needs to back up that train. So, there you are, eating a salad when you really want a hambuger, and we both know that eventually, you are going to eat both before the day is all out.

Eat all those things every day in whatever amounts you think you need at mealtimes.  Plan meals and at least one snack.  Desserts should be fruit for one month until you get your buds wiped off. Do NOT go out to fast food for at least a month (make that hamburger at home) Drink water between planned meals and snacks, no food whatsoever. call someone if you are trying to get to OA OA saved me. I know it can save you.
