I hate not being able to pay them but the last two years have just worked out that way. Hopefully, this year with the extra refunds we are getting we can get into a good habit of saving part back for them. It would be a great thing. It takes 3-4 years here before you lose your home for not paying taxes but it also means someone else "buys" your taxes and you pay them the original amount plus whatever interest they decide to charge up to 30%. So an $800 original bill can end up costing you $1200 but you do what ya gotta do KWIM? Beth

1) Fantastic weekend buying nifty stuff and walking 7 hours. Seven! Last year's record was 14 minutes! 2) Business is booming and I'm in the mood-- everything's shipping on time (I sell collectables and Mod clothing online) 3) Had two killer Godiva truffles Tuesday (so good I can still taste 'em!) 4) Got a party coming up Saturday and I am ready 5) I am finally getting to a size 20 or less, so more vintage intergalactic waitress-wear for me! Less stress over the surgery, more faith that things'll work out somehow.

The sun is shining....only 20 degrees, but at least the sun is shining...Spring is on the way. 3. In the middle of a good book....Stephen King's newest....The Duma Key. 4. Being retired and having the pleasure of going out to lunch with my man. 5. A beautiful new granddaughter who I will be seeing again next weekend.

Five sounds like a lot, but I'll try. 1. Looking forward to a lunch date with my Dad tomorrow. We are going all-out to a nice place so it should be quite an event. 2. I "ran" (jogged, really) my fastest mile yet this week. Which wasn't terribly fast to most people, but I don't give a crap :) It was after 4 days of not working out and I felt really down. Then I decided I was just going to suck it up and DO it, and I did. 3. My best friend making me laugh over a phone conversation 4. I just saw David Faustino (brother from Married With Children) on the street. Ha ha. 5. As of today, we are one day closer to spring

1.  My two younger children are going away for the weekend so I more or less have no children starting tomorrow afternoon.  The other two keep quite busy with work and friends so it will just be hubby and me.

2.   I got bills paid and organized.  I even made a budget today, now only if I can stick to it!

3.  It's messy outside but wow do I love the hear of rain.  I see a VERY small little patch of grass on the side of my house, that's very exciting!

4.  Realizing the love my husband has for me.  Or I should say for each other. :)  Here he had to work all day but came home to seeing me not feeling well so he helped fold clothes and rubbed my feet and even put lotion on them for me!

5.  I'm happy to be alive and breathing and enjoying seeing my kids grow up!
