Elliptical tonight!!! Did 25 minutes and that was after being off for 5 days! It felt GOOD! Also- I moved UP to level TWO :)

I have SIX more work days and I'm OFF for VACATION :) :) I took NEXT Friday off... so I can pack everyone and clean my house before we leave... IF the weather LETS us leave
Been shopping for a new car online the past two days. PRICEY- *gulp*
Looking at the Toyota FJ Cruiser... anyone here have one?? My heart is set on that one... Voo-doo blue. I can get an extra seat installed to haul my "extra" kids so it'll seat a total of 6.
Smaller than my *1995* mini van- but hmmmmm.... SWEET!!!

This is MY car story:
Got my VERY FIRST CAR... for my 37th birthday.
YEP... I was THIRTY SEVEN years old!! It was a 1995 Ford Windstar with metalic paint that looked PLUM in the normal light but changed to TEAL in the sunshine (REMEMBER... we live in ALASKA sooooo rarely ever saw TEAL!) That ole "gran van" has had head gaskets blow, transmission blow- gone through 3 sets of tires... electrical difficulties... ohhhh the list could go on & on & ON :)
TODAY.... I'm STILL DRIVING that old van!
And the vacation.... honestly... this is a FIRST since 1993. I've been on this island since then. But for a trip to Seatlle for ds open heart, to Juneau to take him to his cardiac clinics (the cardiac team from Children's go in there so we go there) Been there twice to shop over the years. Other than that... I went to Tampa to get our dd in 2001 but I was in the hospital with she and her birth mom and in the host home the rest of the time... that was it :)
I'm almost 50. So with MY average.... this will likely be my LAST CAR. And God FORBID... my LAST vacation! OR.... if I DO ever go again... I'll be on SSI by the time it happens!!!
You know what they say: "Be careful for what you wish for" LOL Oh yeah! I won't beg you to ask your ex about the cruiser... if your anything like ME with MY ex... I'd rather.....

LOL... I'm not taking the car ON vacation... I'm flying :) Still wanna be tied to the OUTSIDE of my method of transportation?? :)
You gotta SEE what I'm driving. My son calls it the "GRAN-VAN" and I am not allowed to drop him off at the FRONT DOOR of his middle school.... I have to drop him at the SIDE door. Cause he is embarrassed! LOL I'm driving a 1995 Ford Windstar. It's not bad looking- but almost older than my son :) (he was 8 mos old when we bought it and is almost 14 now)
We live on an island- where EVERYONE KNOWS EVERYONE. We ALL KNOW what the rigs in town look like- we have a population of 3,000 people for crying out loud! Half the kids have ridden in the darned thing over the years.... Hellooooo!? But I cannot drop him off at school for FEAR they'll SEE HIM in THE GRAN-VAN :)
I had planned to hold off until July to buy a new car but with my dh having a buyer NOW for the "gran-van", I'm looking now. Don't want to loose that buyer LOL
First day I drop my son off at his school in the NEW CAR.... I am dropping him off at the SIDE DOOR. Just for the FUN of it :)
