An observation..

It didn't affect me much at all??  I felt a little rumble or too and maybe passed gas once ore twice but for the most part it didn't affect me at all.  I did end up eating two pieces of pizza though.. but that was about an hour after.  I would think pizza would cause gas as well but it didn't..  Maybe I'm swallowing air????

In the mouth, out the butt?  LOL

Do you post your daily food intake here or anywhere else? If not maybe you should write it down somewhere and put a little note on the bottom on how  your day went.  Eventually I would think you would be able to figure out what is doing it to you.

Just a thought. :)

I do post on Janina's threads but I haven't posted in a while.  Just kinda keep up with it in my head. Been trying to figure out what i think it might be and then pay really close attention when I eat that item next.  So far I haven't figured a thing out! :)

Try it for a few weeks or month.  I bet you figure it out.  I know I had to do it with my legs, on when my RLS hurts worse.  For some reason it hurts worse before and after TOM, very odd, but I'm glad I know now when it happens now so I can be prepared.  It might be something little that you can change, like the percentage of milk or something?!?!  It's worth a shot, what do ya have to lose, and you know writing down your foods is better for you in the long run anyways. It's been proven! :)

I hate tracking my food! LOL!   It's not so bad to write down what I ate but when I start having to figure out how much I ate I get frustrated with it.  Just not for me. I've often wondered if I have RLS too. My wife says I kick my legs all night long and I constantly move in my sleep.  But other than knowing RLS deals with the legs I know nothing about it.

I'm starting not to write down my portions either.  I figure its not in my plan, so why bother.  Plus I like it better like this. :)  Im praying this works cause I really love the idea of no measuring or counting points.  My bad part is concentrating on stop eating when I'm "satisfied" instead of full!  I never realized how much I stuff myself.  I have the rule with the kids that they can leave whatever on their plates if they are not hungry.  But I can't seem to do that.  I guess being raised eating everything on my plate is still engraved on my head.  Plus seeing my dad stuff himself, lol even making grunting noises that he's so full, every single night probably isn't helping any.

As for the RLS, tell you the truth I'm not even sure if I have it.  I have the pills for it, one doctor says I have it and another doctor thinks it's my weight and I'll be in a wheelchair within the next 20 years if I don't lose weight.  The pills do work when I take them, but they give me stomach cramps real bad.  They said it would go away, but after two and a half weeks my stomach still cramps.  SO I stopped taking them regularly.  I mean, why would I want to trade a leg cramp for a stomach cramp??  So now I just take them when it gets really bad.  Since I'm not use to them anymore it works sort of like codiene would..knocks me out and feel like I'm in lala land. :)

If your kicking in the middle of the night you might have it.  I've read a LOT on it and a lot of people don't even know they have it.  It's just some people have it worse than others, and peoples symptoms are different than others.  Like me, I hardly ever kick in the middle of the night.  I toss and turn a lot, but don't kick.  The majority of the time I don't have to get up instantly if it hurts at night.  But if it hurts during the day, I HAVE to get up IMMEDIATELY and work my leg out.  It usually happens while I'm sitting at the computer chair the most. So mine happens mostly during the day instead of night.  Bummer for me.  I would wait until it gets worse though if it's not bugging you.  I have talked to alot of people get on the meds and have to keep getting higher dosages because they get use to it.  Plus RLS gets more aggresive over time, so you'll deff get it sooner or later if you have it..

Well I think I've written enough now.  LOL, I'm putting off going into the kitchen afraid what I'll grab.  Think I'll go eat some protien, I didn't have much protien in with my dinner.  Hopefully that will satisfy me!
