An observation..
LOL omg are we bored tonight? Thanks for the little laugh before going to bed. My dh was even over here reading what I was giggling about. Oh I'm sure it's not a funny matter to you, but when you come on here expecting something serious, it sort of breaks the straight face. Thanks, I think we needed a change of pace here! :) hehe
On the other note, maybe you should wiki it! There's got to be a reason for it.
Acckk, dh just said he read 90 miles per hour gust wind alert close to my house between now and morning. Lol, children are going to be flying at the bus stop! Should be interesting.
LOL! I have determined that eating a large amount of grains, rice, pasta, bread causes my guts to act exactly like that. Most over the counter pasta is wheat, btw, egg noodles only mean eggs are also in them - usually yokes only. I noticed that when I ate a lot less of grains, my guts behave normally. I'm talking like really half the size of my fist as a portion - compared to how I used to eat - like 3 fistfuls, that is not much, but that much works. It's my understanding that it is because of insoluble fiber - differing from the soluble fiber that fruits/veggies have. Insolubles are what your colonoscopy doc will preach about - s/he will want you to eat more of them! Yes, you too will eventually have one of those! I think that gluten sensitive peeps have extreme issues in this way - bad pains, illness. However, why don't you try to eat zero wheat and see if anything changes for you. There is a ton of gluten free products out there!

Hi Chris - I am taking your post seriously because I have the identical problem. The kind of gas you are referring to is also very painful for me. I have found that I can only eat rice or corn cereal, no wheat. Pasta is an occasional treat due to the pain it causes as are cookies, cakes, etc. I have thought about a gluten free diet and will probably start one soon.
