saaay, what does your dh/dw think about all of US?
Hooking up via online is the way peeps meet each other these days. That still get sideways looks like "you're now dating the Unibomber???" It is almost a shameful thing for many of my contemporaries and elders.
I'm over it! If I am ever to be single again and wanting to date, i'd do it in a heartbeat. Whether you meet your SO in church, bar, or online, the hope is that you give it time and make sure he is not a nut job.
I tell DH that I need to check in with my friends when i get home or start posting before work, he gives me a *look* while shaking his head...thinks i am in a fantasy. Of course, any one of you ( or me, LOL) MIGHT be a psycho, but since we tend to stay on subject and talk about our food issues, who cares so much of we would be friends if we met in 3D? We're friends here!
Hehehe....my dh calls it the fat board too! I am now a very infrequent lurker. I try to check in once a week but sometimes don't get an opportunity.
They blocked any type of forum boards at work so I can't just pop in and check anymore.
Been extreemely busy at work, been in training for about 6 weeks now, got 3 more to go, and then may have to go to Jersey for 14 weeks.
Got a three day trip planned to Ft. Walton Beach, FL. this week. Leaving Weds. morning be back Friday night. Looking forward to that.
I have lost ~35 lbs. thus far, but feel like I'm stalled. I got to go back to dr. in the morning, maybe they will tweak my fill so it will have time to adjust before departure to Jersey......Miss ya guys!!!!
P.S. If DH keeps eating half of my food everytime we go anywhere, he may need to join our fat board.....
My hubby thinks it's great! He is also a little insecure just for the fact that we also met online in a chat room over six years ago. So once in a while he'll come over and read what I'm writing or reading a post with me. I let him, for peace of mind. He isn't too bad though, we're pretty secure in our relationship. He's just glad I found a place that I like!
LOL...Obesity Help does sound like an oxymoron. So are they going to help you stay obese?
But to me...there ain't nothin' funny about being called fat. Them's fightin' words!
I prefer to hope for the future. If you constantly hear yourself say, "I'm a future hottie"...then it becomes a part of your thinking.
