Found the evidence of sleep eating.

I just found the evidence and I'm so freaked.  I haven't done this in ages. There were some leftover alfredo noodles in the fridge.  I don't remember doing it but I found an empty bowl on the counter just a few minutes ago.  It had to be me.  My blood sugar is 143 right now, so I  think I ate enough to make me have to start all over again.. maybe 1/2 cup.. maybe 3/4.. but I know it was me. I took something for nerves last night and 2 pain pills because my shoulders were screaming.  Usually that knocks me out, but I must have been eating those noodles in my sleep. I got on the scale to a 4 lb gin, which would make sense if I ate that many processed noodles...I filled with fluid... but dayem.. now comes starting all over again.  I should have chained myself to the couch.... but I had NO idea. Thank GOD I'm going to be away from here for a few days (if I can get my eyes open and pop in the shower. I just can't believe I did this.

and... the blood sugar is up to 188!!  I am NOT taking any insulin!!!  It'll come down by the end of the day.. I just won't eat anything else.   I can't believe I did this after so many months of staying on target!

Well, I'm off.... See yaz lata!

Oh dear, I do that sometimes too.  My issue is sweets.  If I wake up in the middle of the night I end up stumbling into the kitchen and stuffing it in my mouth and don't remember until morning.  I hate it.  I haven't done it in awhile, and I cleared the house of tempting treats a few weeks ago.  I'm sorry you had to go through that.

That has to be scary....feeling out of control is always scary for me.  I guess it could have been worse....a whole casserole or a chocolate cake, but I know that carbs are carbs when you're eating close to none/day. I'm glad you're getting away too....that will help.  You've had a rough week.  Enjoy the break and you'll get right back on track.  Heck, when you eat in your sleep you don't even get to enjoy it!  (my sick humor). Can't blame yourself for something you did in your sleep....it's a new day. Enjoy the time with your sisters.

That is just frightening.  Even worse than binges cause you don't even get to enjoy the food.

What have they done to help you in the past?

Hope it resolves ASAP.

Oh, I am sorry to hear this but you didn't know what you were doing.  I was wondering the same thing, is there anything that can be done to stop it from happening again?  Chains sound not so fun!  I am glad you are getting away for a few days.  I hope you have wonderful, relaxing weekend!

wow - wonder if you can put an alamr on your bedroom door.  That would be charming for the others in the house, but hey.  That is super freaky.

Doing anything while you're asleep freaks me out.  Wow girl...

I am so sorry this happened. Would it help you to get awake if you used a child safety latch on your refrigerator? I know how you feel about the weight gain.  It has happened to me too.  But I was awake when I ate the wrong foods.
