Travel to Alaska in less than 5 minutes.
Oh cool! Bah, they still don't have the street view where I want too look. hehe I noticed they haven't updated the satellite view from at least 3-5 years ago where I live. Lol, the trampoline is still in my neighbors yard in the picture.ha Hmm, wonder how long it's going to take to get more street views. Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check into this more. I love snooping around in other states to see what they look like! Plus I'm actually quite interested in Juneau. I live in Anchorage so Juneau is far away. It's one place I still want to go too.
Thanks again!
"Junea, Alaska out on some peninsula." LOL
Juneau is the Capital of Alaska... it is where I was born as well as where we go shopping or to see a Dr etc. It takes me about 8 hours to get there by ferry... but it is my stomping grounds :) ONE Wall-mart... ONE Fred Meyer. That is Juneau
I had fun tromping along the neighborhood... went to visit my friend... and my families old home :) This is GREAT FUN!
I've been working google for days now but hadn't even seen this! Now I'm going to go see if it has the hotel we're staying at in Annaheim California :)
The roads in Juneau are much more busy than ours... I'm going to FREEK when we hit California!!!
Thanks again, for sharing!
HA! The Anchorage folks would LOVE that to be TRUE.... bwaahhhh haaaaaa haaaaa...................................... SE AK is WHERE IT'S AT :) Some people have fought for YEARS to get it moved up there but... to many fight against it :) Okay Holly.... let me have it!
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA
Yea, I do have to say I think it makes NO sense to have Juneau as the capital. I mean, see....even Chris thinks it's here in Anchorage, every body does! But then again, that means that Anchorage would even be bigger than what it really is. And it means more and more outsiders would come here since this is the biggest city here and especially if it was the capital. You know what Alaskans think about outsiders right??ha Hmmm, maybe you can keep it! hehe
"YAY Anchorage!!!" hehe
Really depends on where you look. Most of it is total wilderness still and you have to do all the work to it. I remember my brother in law bought some land and we would just go camping on it. My sister right now bought some land I think?? in Talkeetna because all of us Alaskans think it will be the next Wasilla. Wasilla has grown a LOT within the last ten to twenty years. If I remember correctly it's one of the fastest growing places in the US. So my sister bought the Talkeetna land hoping it will bring her a profit years down the road.
Here is a link I love. I'm always looking at houses and this is the best website I have found. It seperates it in different areas, which is handy.
