What did you eat today? 02/05
Did anyone vote today? I am not allowed to, because NY primaries do not allow registered independents :(
Wake-up: Iced coffee with soy milk (100)
Brunch: 3 egg white omelet with Muenster, steamed beet greens (240)
Snack: Plain yogurt with ground flaxseed (130)
Dinner: Quinoa in veggie broth with kidney beans and baked sweet potato (420)
Dessert: Candied ginger (90), glass of almond milk (40)
Total: 1020 calories
I couldn't vote in the primaries ANYWAY.. I'm way too conflicted. This is the FIRST time in my life that I've actually felt conflicted and considered voting against party. This is the most interesting election year I've experienced! :) If this was like Chinese food.. yanno.. 1 from column A and 2 from column B, I might have done it! lol
Breakfast: a sausage patty
Lunch: about 2 oz of that leftover turkey from last night
Dinner: went to Ihop and had a bacon/egg cheeseburger
Actually, I was pretty happy to eat dinner.. I was so raunched out from either the relaphlen or the soma that it was hard to think of food. The coke zero really helped.
B: nf ns yogurt
L: 1 c apple chicken salad, 3/4 c portobello bisque, 1 pc baguette
S: 1 lg biscuit, 1/2 c sausage gravy
Today was a lean day but I haven't been feeling well. Went to the dr today and he put me on a blood pressure/ migraine pill. He thinks the migraines are why I don't feel good. He also got to look at my food diary and was impressed. I records meds taken, exercise time and food eaten. He really liked what I had eaten and the amounts. I'm glad I am doing so well. I've just got to keep going.
Have a wonderful evening everyone!

Thanks, I don't count calories because I already know the calories of everything I intake. Its like a "controlled environment". I buy certain foods and stick with them so counting calories is optional. Plus everything I eat is basically low-calorie or veggie or protein. Here are the breads i use

Nature's Own also has a Sourdough kind that is 40 calories a slice. Its soo good toasted.
I just havent made a profile... when I post pictures I may do one.. its so time consuming! Basically 7 years, all different eating styles (vegan, low-carb, no carb!, balanced diet/w exercise.. sticking with it.
