Such a day! Abstinence - Day 2
My one client had an emotional crisis 5:00 a.m. this morning, and was afraid to call me, because my husband might get pissed. He called the Crisis Line instead, and they helped calm him down. Then, on my way to see him today, my car crapped out, and when I called my client, he cried on the phone. I told him I'd be over later, driving my husband's car.
Breakfast
2 pieces french toast with margarine & light syrup
1 cup 1% milk
3/4 cup prune/grape juice
1 cup hazelnut coffee
20 oz. water
Mid Morning Fiasco (at church)
Alot of cookies
1 cup coffee
Lunch
Lean Cuisine spaghetti & meat sauce
3 medium whole wheat pita pockets
Several prunes
Water
1 large Slimfast Bar
Dinner
Rotisserie chicken leg & wing with skin
1 cup mashed potatoes with margarine
1/2 cup light fruit ****tail
1 can New England clam chowder
1-1/2 cups 1% milk
Evening Snack
2 chocolate graham crackers
At least I'll end the day with an abstinent meal!

How do you define abstinence? Are you doing the OA thing? Kitties, you should really tally the calories - this list seems like a lot. People define abstinence in different ways but three clean meals or two clean meals and 2 healthy snacks is what most sponsers are acceptable of. Abstinence can also mean the absence of white flour & sugar - the absence of trigger foods etc.
It is soooooooooooooo hard I know.
