Thinking of clothes, made me wonder:
What is your body style or description? Lots of you do not have pictures on your profile, so I don't know.
I am an apple shape, though now that I am closer to goal, I do get a waistline (albeit high). My butt and legs are too small for my upper body proportion, but I would NOT call my legs slender - very sturdy looking.
My boobs appear larger, but I think my broad ribcage helps that illusion. My arms, again, sturdy looking, not small, but not flabby.
Oh gawsh.. ok..
I had more of a waist when I was bigger I think.. ok. (maybe cause my butt was much bigger.. I dunno)..
Ok, I have some cheating.. I had a mammoplasty and abdominoplasty about 4 years after I had my daughter.. so I get away with an awful lot. I'm more of an apple I guess.. was a lot worse 80 lbs ago but now everything is looking pretty proportionate... solid.. muscular type.. my arms and shoulders are HARD.. always were.. back is solid/muscular... I'm fairly happy with my triceps even though they dwarf my bi's (I'm workin' on it.. but I hate doing bi's).
Legs.. wow.. um... I'm pleased with how the outside is coming out, and I'm getting my teardrop back, but the inside of my thighs are still pretty squishy. I have big calves... always did.. they're HARD as a rock, but big.. :(
I can see the extra skin is gonna be the worst on my stomache which might wreak some havoc with trying to figure out what size I am. Right now I have on a pair of 16/18 bike shorts (old ones from years ago), and they fit nice. I can't wait to see what another 50/60 lbs off is gonna look like.
I don't know what my 'shape' would be considered -- I think I am fairly proportionate all over. I've always been built kind of on a larger frame -- broad shoulders, etc... kinda thick all over I guess. I never knew how to really describe my shape. I finally figured out how to upload pics on my profile though so I have my before pics, and ummm....one after pic I think.....if I did it right....maybe as I continue to lose weight, I will develop a "shape" LOL
Neecee, I smiled when you said that about pics on a profile. You wouldn't be able to judge my body type by going to my profile because my pics are from plastics and each one features the 'whack of the day', only!
I used to be a huge Super Apple. But now I'm kinda just proportionate. My goal was a size Smoothe. But my tummy tuck revision from three months ago is still a little swollen, so currently, I have the body of a teenager. You know, the one who is newly pregnant and showing just enough to make her Mama suspicious!
Since doc lifted everything, and got the spare tire off of my butt, my legs look a lot more muscular. It's either that or all of those half squats and kicks. But I've always had muscular legs, from living on a bike as a child. I'll have to get back to you on the new body type once the swelling goes down. I'm hoping to say that it is 'normal'. Which is another goal I had...to just look normal!

I'm only 5' 2" so you get even a LITTLE weight on me and you notice! But my belly is my WORST. I had 5 full term pregnancies- ranging from 17 years old to almost 39 years old! So I guess I earned that LOL
But my gut IS my worst. My arms are bigger- I've never liked my upper arms... need to find some sort of exercise to help them (thoughts?)
I am built really quite small... well, that's how I was BUILT... that's NOT how I AM :) My hands are the size of an 8 y/o kids... my wrists and ankles are small. My legs are okay but need firmed up a LOT.
I always have a HARD time finding pants to FIT my body. Cause if I buy the size to fit my waste...
then BOTH legs can fit into ONE pant leg. AND... I have cut about 5 inches off the bottom LOL
