This has nothing to do with weight loss but I booked my first wedding! My dream is to have my own wedding planning shop but I'm a little iffy since I live in oklahoma and well we're like the 3rd poorest state! Not many people want to pay someone to plan their wedding but this couple did! They have a big budget too sooo I'm so excited! Just wanted to share

Wish you lived closer to us because I'd LOVE to have someone plan ours!  I only have 5 months to go so  I better get on the ball!

Some free marketing/business advice as that's my milieu--you could still do well in a $ challenged location by offering affordable solutions--tailor your services and products to specifically work with smaller budgets and minimize your time commitment.  In such a case your goal would be volume of sales relationships, not cost per client.  However, could you focus on middle class?  Or is the demographics even more $ challenged than that?

CONGRATS!!!! How Exciting!!! I think you'll be surprised and will likely get a lot of clients! Seems weddings go CRAZY these days and people are often taking out loans even to make sure it's perfect!  I look back at mine and laugh! I made my own dress... which was okay... just stressful. It was Ivory in color and had lace etc., but I didn't have a veil or anything (flowers in my hair) and we decorated the hall (hall was donated/free) with crepe paper streamers, bells etc. It wasn't anything to write home about LOL  But we went into the marriage free of debt-- guess THAT'S one way to look at it LOL    But I do miss having a nice fancy wedding- especially now that I do digi scrapbooks! On the 9th... it'll be 23 years :)   CONGRATS again! Have FUN!!!!

awe congrats! Weddings like that really mean more than spending 100,000! I'm getting married myself...no date set because we're trying to save some money so we can avoid going in debt lol

Oh that sounds like fun!  Wow, I could have used you five years ago! :)  My first wedding was just at the court house.  THis marriage I went all out because it was his first.  He was in the Navy stationed in Japan at the time so I had to do it all on my own.  Then all the sudden the war broke out and his ship got sent out.  Talk about a stressful time!  I would have done anything to have someone else do it all for me. I tried so hard to convince him for us to just go to Vegas.  Lol, always teased him about getting married by Elvis.  I would of done it in a heart beat just so I wouldn't have to stress over all of it!!

Have fun!!
