Can someone tell me a good one to buy that isn't cheesy?? I don't want to pay a lot for one but I want one that is going to be accurate and good! Any ideas please let me know where to find one and so forth and so on :) Will appreciate it!

Whatever you do, don't buy a Taylor! When I asked this question I was told that the Weigh****chers scales and Tanita scales were very good. My doctor's scale is a Tanita actually.  I haven't priced them locally yet but they can be expensive. Perhaps the weigh****chers scale is a good choice. I was also told that Bed, Bath & Beyond is a good place to get scales.

I seen a weigh****chers one tonight in a magazine and it was 80. I searched at bed bath and beyond..didn't even think about checking there..and they have some weigh****cher ones for 70,50 and 30. I seen the Tanita one that you were talking about and they are 30, 50 and 100. Thanks for posting because it did help me out thank you :) and maybe some of this helped you or someone else!!  I will have to check into one of those brands..weigh****chers or tanita..i actually have a bed bath and beyond about 40 mins or so from me..never been in that store. thank you again Chris!!

Walmart.com actually has several of the WW scales- different price ranges. I think starting around $25 and going up to around $60... depending on how many "bells & whistles" you want on it :) drugstore.com has the tanita's for between like $60 and $130 I think. Bed bath & beyond (online) also has both brands at fairly reasonable prices I'm looking for one as well. Still undecided as to what to buy though :)

I think I will likely go with the Tanita.  Which model I have no clue yet. I'd like one with the body fat % and stuff.  Jersey Girl gave me a link to one that she prefers. It was  a Tanita Ironman or something like that? I believe the two companies (tanita and ironman) merged and these were the ironman scales originally. When I looked at them they looked like a body builder/fitness type scale and the regular Tanita scales I see are fashioned more like a 'health' scale.  Here's a link to the ironman scales. Jersey speaks very highly of them. http://www.tanita.com/IronManScales.shtml When you go to Bed, Bath & Beyond, make sure you don't bring too much extra money with you!  If you like 'household gadgets' then you'll be in heaven and broke when you leave!  I love BB&B! They have some really neat stuff!  Check out the Simple Human trash cans! OMG I love em!  hehehe

if it's that close to the doc's scale then you're good.  Mine was WAY off. It was one of their $30 digital scales from wally world.  I also have an analog taylor scale. it only goes up to 300 so I can't trust that it's accurate.  5 lbs past 300 may not actually be 305..yanno?
