Oh Gosh.. I did THAT picture under duress!  (Can you tell?)  I was about 285 in that pic.. so it was close enough to 310 that I didn't feel badly about using it.

I've been thinking about having Jon take one of me now.. and my sister sent me one from when we went apple picking last year..  I dunno...   I don't wanna break the camera.  I'll get there...  the self-esteem is pretty well in the crapper... so.. one thing at a time...    There's nothing I really wanna show off... let's see.. the stretch marks?  The butt touching the back of my legs?  Ut uh.. I looked better fatter.

We all have some of those problems, myself included.  Overall we still look and feel better.  With as much weight as you have lost your spirits should be great.  Let yourself enjoy it and don't fret the rest.  After all,  you do deserve it!   BTW,  you look attractive by your avitar.  Brenda

Thank you, you're very kind.

My spirits are much better than they were 6 months ago.  I really thank God for all of you people here..  there are no words to express what coming here has done for me.

The DS Board gets sum kudos for keeping a pretty dead horse even deader! Just when you think you can't squeeze out one more response on that subject...an 1800+++ response thread occurs. Amazing. The ringleaders are more wordy and tenacious than most. And, apparently have a considerable amount of time on their hands. Cool.  RnY, my 3D friends are eating most things after the first year. Choices again...all food can work in a healthy maintenance diet. Whatever works. For me, I would choose the most worthy surgeon in my general area and go with that. I really don't get how people can go to Mexico in extreme examples, sure, saves money, but what about the follow up care, aka "the Rest of Your Life"? ALL of the choices have some downside.  I'd go do one of the above before my basic health & quality of life was completely gone.  Mostly, it is to laugh.

The more vocal DSers are seemingly of the belief that their (important) message is not getting heard-- and don't believe any press is bad press-- so the end justifies the means. They believe they are saving lives by informing people of other options. I hope they are.
