Hello my crazy second family!
VSG on 03/13/12
I just wanted to post and update. I am still dying..lol. That's how I feel. Actually i am better today but still really bad at the same time. I am still in pain but Tylenol covers that up, stuffed up but Sudaffed takes care of that for the most part and my cough is a little more controlable than it has been..a cough drop works for a second. Other than that I am at work currently, I shouldn't be but I am. I haven't been to the gym since Sunday...and that is all I can think about is the gym. But I am not sure how long it will take before I can go back due to my lungs with the bronchitis. Because you know you get kinda winded at times and i will just end up coughing my lungs out. I haven't weighed myself..I am going to wait until Saturday which will officially be 1 month. I haven't taken the Phentermine since Monday. Which I have been ok for the most part. Except for that first day without it. I had major cravings and i was starving. I ended up relying on Fast Food...but it was the only meal I ate that day I hated myself that day but i got over it. It tastes so good lol. Then yesterday I only ate some "Chickie Soup" and i have been drinking water and tea. But last night as i was laying on my couch flipping back and forth between Cashmere Mafia anbd the Reunion of Real World Sydney. I had this craving of omg I want McDonalds or Taco Bell...anything at that matter I was hungry. I dont have anything in my apartment besides frozen meats. I ended up just going to bed. But I probably wont start the Phentermine back up until either Sunday or Monday...depending on how i feel.
A large part of getting the most out of your workout is breathing correcly... inhaling on the negatives and exhaling on the positives, and to be honest, if you attempted it right now, you would be doing yourself an injustice. You need rest, my little one.. that's when your body repairs itself. I would suggest other comfort food like pastina and egg, but that would sabotage your weight loss efforts.
Christa.. it might be time to see a doctor.. what if this is bacterial?
I'm glad to hear that some aspects of this illness are getting better, but overall you still feel like crap and that's somewhat worrisome. I know you're anxious to get back into the gym, but first things first.
Have someone make you a nice fresh pot of chickie soup .. there's nothing like homemade... if I was close enough to you I'd have you stocked. As a matter of fact, I heard several sneezes coming from my daughter's room this morning and OUT came the chickie! Even at her tender age she knows that it seems to work small miracles.
Keep us informed, and don't be afraid of telling the doc that you feel like crap!
Still praying for your recovery and your comfort!
God Bless ya hon
