Happy!
Well I'm sure this isn't important to you all but I thought I'd share! I was having a hard time with my CED today...seemed like I needed to eat, eat, eat some more then continue eating but I didn't! I ate right and chewed the hell out of my gum! Today when I got home I made my dinner and didn't over eat at all then about an hour ago was again having that urge to eat so I cut up a cucumber and yeah pretty much ate half of it! LOVED IT! ......Another thing...I've got an appointment tomorrow with a personal trainer. I've got to get the facts about everyting....mainly cost since I'm el broke-o! Ohhhhh by the way I've lost 3 pounds since last week!!!
WOOHOO!! Of COURSE it's important to us!!!!
Listen kiddo.... when you deal with the trainer.. everything is negotiable. If you can't afford the price he/she is giving you (especially if you contract THROUGH the gym), offer to pay cash to the trainer directly without going through the gym in exchange for a reduction in price.
Trainers who work through the gym only get a percentage of the total fee and they have no power to negotiate.. when they do it directly with you, there's plenty of room to move in exchange for a cash payment.
I pay $30 for the originally quoted $60 that would have been contracted through the gym just by doing it directly with my trainer.
Ok.. so this may be info you already have.. I just thought I'd share because like you I'm pretty tapped out, but I'm rationalizing it all by knowing that I'm not spending a fortune on insulin anymore.
Good luck sweetie and KUDOS on the loss!!!!

Very cool - alla y'all to be considering trainers! Hey, whatever it takes. You may all develop a love of exercise and at least lay down the beginnings of getting committed to it daily, trainer or not. AND learn it right!
If you run into problems - money being the biggest barrier for most, don't let that stop you in your tracks. I used to go get books at used book stores or garage sales, make copies of varying exercise moves, keep it in my file at the gym, and be my own personal trainer! I made notes on that file. Eventually found workout buddies - one would read about form and check for consistency, the other would work the words! Then, we would go outside and walk or jog, whatever.
Even if you cannot afford a gym, it does not cost a lot to set up your own workout corner at your home: a balance ball, set of weights (2#, 5#, 10# at a minimum), cardio tapes and dvds, etc.
Good job, everyone!!!!!!
