meridian
The one that seems to give the most success on is phentermine. I've seen many prescribed meridia but none have had much success. Xenical or (prescription Alli) is another that seems to work great for many. However, I must mention that no pill will make you lose the weight without you working along with it. Each pill is only a tool and if you don't use it right it won't work. Same goes for surgery.
Sorry I didn't see this sooner... I took Meridia a couple years ago. I think I lost 17 pounds on it over a three month period. BUT... as if by CLOCK WORK.... at exactly 3 months- it completely stopped helping. I'm not sure if that is common? I'm not sure WHY it happened- but it stopped all together.
It was $150 a month and I continued to buy it to try again in time. I tried it again maybe 8 months ago... *nothing*. It did not help curb my apatite a bit!
Maybe my body grew use to the rug? I don't know. But personally, if you want a little *boost* to get you started- it might do well. But otherwise- I'd try the phentermine if you're interested in a WL med.
Good luck!
