Protein bars

Do you know of any protein bars that don't have fruit juice or sugars?  I am fine with artificial sweeteners.  It is hard to find something with low fat and low sugars. Do you know of any recipes for home-made that are good?

I did something of a "cost-benefit analysis" of protein bars-- and while both contain small amounts of sugar, the ones with the lowest carbs per protein gram would be the Oh! Yeah wafers and the Power Crunch wafers. Both of these are delicious, and available at The Vitamin Shoppe and likely also some other vitamin places in your area, and they come in chocolate, peanut butter-- and many other yummy flavors.  Power Crunch contains a small amount of real sugar (under 7 grams) plus artificial sweetners (Splenda/sucralose and sugar alcohols.) There's 185 calories and 14 g of mostly whey protein. The Oh! Yeah! wafers have 1g of real sugar, and sucralose. 180 calories, and 15g of mostly soy protein. Check 'em out.

check out www.costco.com The ones I buy are called Protein Plus - i eat half at a time. Otherwise, look at a bariatric store:  www.carbessentials.net Most of the ones in regular stores do have some sugar or juice.  it is hard to find ones with neither!

Have you bought from here?  If so, have you tried their ranch dressing?  I have a place nearby that lets walk ins buy any of there products.  I haven't been there in about two years so I'm praying they still will let you.  I'm going to go down there this weekend.  But I've never seen dressing sold there before.  I'm VERY particular on my dressings.  I would rather have the original and eat a small amount of it than the low fat versions of it.  If anyone has any suggestions for creamy good dressings that are actually descent  I would love to hear about them.
