Can't stop thinking...

See the thing is I know all of this.  I know all about 'whitey'. I guess I'm just reluctant to give it up like I was last time.  I do love whole grains.  They're just not as readily available though. Lunch is the worst. I'm a big fan of stick it in the microwave and eat.  Majority of the meals of this nature are loaded with white carbs.  Blah.... ARGH!   I'm just being difficult... Today is NOT a good day and I'm arguing with myself and anyone that comes along.  Tomorrow will be better!

Keep arguing.. let it ALL out! How about a whole package of Oscar Meyer shaved turkey in the microwave for like 30 seconds with a nice side of broccoli!!  YUMMMMMY!!!!!!!   How about I send you all the Nutrisystem lunches I didn't use.  They're all microwavable.  Maybe they'll help you get back on track.

I fought it realllllllly hard.  I ended up grabbing one of those bite size 3 musketeers dark chocolate mint things on the way out the door yesterday.  Only one so it wasn't much damage.  I didn't go raid the vending machine though.  I had called the wife and we talked about dinner.  I that this undying uncontrollable desire to have a juicy hamburger. Not one from a FF joint but a good homemade burger.   I made it home and went to karate.. I got home around 7:45 and she had gone to the store to get wheat buns, lettuce, and tomato for the burgers.  I ended up having two, about a handful of baked curly fries and then one of those nature's own cinnamon granola bars for dessert.  I don't feel too terribly bad because for once I actually was craving the burgers and it wasn't some knee jerk desire. I'm not sure I've actually ever known for sure exactly what I was craving before. This time I did and they were sooooooo good.  Yesterday was not a win for me but I put up and really damn good fight!!!

Noo.. you did really good for the cravings you were having.  Why not pick up a can of roasted macadamias to keep in the office and have 3 or 4 when you have a little craving.  The fat in them will stave off hunger and satisfy that need to crunch something.

Don't much like macadamia nuts.. peanuts and almonds on the other hand are delightful! :P

I would think that the fat in the veggie lasagna would have held you better! Yes, plenty starchy, but had fat, too. I think a walk outside if possible might have helped you not freak out. Or drinking something hot, especially a hot protein drink! Do you have one at your desk?

Nope, don't keep and liquid chalk at my desk...! Bleh!  I can't even imagine how much more bleh they'd be warmed up!  What types/brands of the nasty buggers do you drink? The hot liquid does seem to help though. A good hot cup of joe always seems to curb the appetite.
