Can't stop thinking...
about food today! For lunch I had a veggie lasagna, a cup of carrots and a cup of green beans. I ended up hitting the vending machine for one of those new reese's nougat bars. 230 calories for that thang! Now It's 3pm and I'm wanting something else. I've had too much already! I'm trying to ask myself am I hungry or what is it that I want? I'm terribly bored at work..perhaps that's what's going on. It's driving me nuts and I'm pretty damn sure I'm about to cave and give in to a bag of chips or something else probably far worse! UGH, why in the hell is it so hard sometimes!?

Chris don't you dare get a bag of chips! I will come over there and smack you in the back of the head. :) On another note. Have any gum? Chew it. Drink some water. Entertain yourself on the computer. Sugar free hard candies? Those are yummy. Have any? Um um....Coffee? lol. I am running out of ideas. Just dont eat the chips.
I was kinda thinking that might've been it myself but what I ate today isn't unlike any other day. I eat high starchy foods all the time. I think the white carbs/starches probably do have a little bit to do with it though. I suppose it's time to start experimenting with different stuff. In the meantime I've got to figure out how to get past this. No amount of water is curing this 'desire'. I know I'm not hungry.. ugh.. so damned frustrating!
I gotta agree with Jersey on this one... that pasta zips up your blood sugar.. then you come crashing down and WHAM.... munchie/hungry again.. then the nougat bar and the same thing happened.. what to do.. what to do..
STEP AWAY FROM THE CHIPS! Are there any nuts in that vending machine? Not the honey roasted or super bbq flavor.. just.. salted nuts?
I really found that when I allowed just a smidge of sugar or starch into my diet (again, not carbs only, because fruit and veggies never do this to me)...anyway, it was like I was suddenly eating without thought to consequence.
Kriz, focus on protein, veggies, fruits in your diet. If you're gonna have "the other stuff" make it small, like 2tbsp and that's it...and only have if you're about to burn it off, otherwise it will make ya nuts, man....
