I just re-joined today. I've been a member at least 5 times. While standing in line today, I realized that my first meeting was something like 35 years ago.
I joined here looking at WLS as my solution, but I'm not sure any more. Even if I do have surgery, I need to lose weight first. And if I do well enough, maybe I'll just stay on that path.
I'm not actually on the WW plan, but I am using the points system that my friend, who had joined WW before, had recommended for me, and it seems to be working.
I'm now down 67 points, and I'm very happy. I started at 26 points and now I'm down to 22 points per day. Now, is it true that the weekend is always 35 points, for Saturday and Sunday or is it less? I never really eat that much on weekends so I'm just checking. I'm considering joining to help me with the last 35 pounds I need to lose, but we'll see. I'll hopefully reach goal by my birthday, but if I don't then it'll be time to join to go that extra mile. *smiles*
