So I do things that confuse the hell out of me...food makes me happy, it excites me! I binge eat and sometimes its terrible. I decided to go talk to someone about this and I have been told I have 2 eating disorders. I have binge eating disorder and compulsive eating disorder....not much of a difference but it feels like I finally have something to work at...make any sense at all?

Good for you for taking initiative in finding out what is wrong.  I have seriously thinking about going into OA meetings for my obsession with food.  It just never seems to work out for me though.  Did they say what your next step should be?

Was it a counselor? If so, it would be great to give that a try for a while.  I have never been in one on one couseling, only OA and a couple of boards like this,  Yes, admitting there is a problem is technically the first step to recovery. By identifying it, you have a lead that may help you find solutions. To simply say, just don't do that anymore shows that the speaker does not have a binge/compulsion. It's a little more involved than that. I think the binge part is where you crave feeling stuffed with food, me too - at one time, now it scares me, or at least abhors me. Compulsive, just obessed, right? Just always thinking about it, feeling as though you need it, recognizing that it's not about hunger.

I guess technically, I had two issues as well! Never thought of it that way.
