Hunger....real or imagined?

I am sitting at my computer working this afternoon and just can't seem to satisfy my hunger!  So far for afternoon snacks I have had a hard boiled egg, 70 calories worth of 70% reduced fat pepperoni, a tangerine and a Ka****LC trail bar (along with 16oz of water and a cup of herbal tea).  It can't be real hunger after all of that!  I think I'm just bored and keep getting up to find something to eat rather than staying at my desk and finishing my work (work part time from home). I had a decent lunch today too....minestrone soup and salad at Olive Garden (no bread stick).  I think I'd better put on the sneakers and get on my exercise bike for a while and get my mind off food. Your so good, getting on that bike.  That is exactly what my doctor said to do when I got the munchies.  It does seem to help sometimes doesn't it.

Hope the munchy fairy leaves you alone soon! :)

Lots of peeps had great suggestions...I try a series of deep breaths once in a while. Belly breaths, while imagining that the breath come in thru my forehead (the third eye chakra) and out the heart chakra (when actually exhaling out my mouth) Yup, all in yer head, I think.
