Many questions
I used to like the Russel Stover ones..... (cant eat splenda anymore) the other great thing about the SF candies is they punish you if you eat to many!
What I've eaten is here for the world to see

How many shakes do you recommend in a day in order to get back in the losing mode?
I've tried those shakes in past and if I were going to do shakes those are the ones I would choose. They are affordable, taste great (most of them) and are quite filling. I used to replace breakfast with them because I wasn't a breakfast eater. May end up doing that again. I do remember getting burnt out after a month of drinking them. Perhaps that's because I only drank the chocolate! heheh
Yah, there was a strawberry and a vanilla when I used to drink them. I think I bought mine at wal-mart and sam's club.. Not quite sure... It was several years ago.

Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas. I want to branch out and try some new flavors and ways to make the protein powder. I guess I will break out the blender more often.
I use the EAS Advantage brand of whey protein powder with the purple label. I also bought some Atkins Advantage powder when it was on clearance. It really is spoon stirrable and I really like it.
A WLS friend uses the Unjury brand unflavored. She says she uses it in recipes or yogurt, applesauce, etc. I am trying a packet of the chicken soup and it is okay. But I wouldn't go with it for every day. I don't know what I think of it.
Has anyone tried the "All the Whey" brand? I saw their ad and ordered the chocolate mint with a free sample of the eggnog holiday flavor. I had wanted eggnog around Christmas and tried to make my own recipe using the vanilla protein powder. I hope the sample tastes better than what I tried to make. It is on the way now.
Anyone with more ideas for ways to do the protein powder or what might taste good, please let me know! You have no idea how encouraging you are to me right now.
Those bars, 1/2 at a time are not that bad. The sugars look to be related to concentrated fruit juice pineapple, grape, etc. Not too much fiber, but you can't have it all. The sat fat was surprisingly high, so that will slow down the absorption of the sugar.
The protein and total carbs are close enough in balance that it is not that bad. I try to buy bars that have carbs less than or no more than equal to the protein, but for that price, not bad at all.
