Alright so today I have been watching how many calories to see if maybe I'm just starving myself from all the posts of what people eat on the post that I did before. So..here it goes..for breakfast..i didnt eat because I wasn't hungry. Which I know i overate lastnight...and i woke up this morning not even hungry..even after i walked.. i wasn't hungry.. So around 20 till 11..i was hungry so i brought me some refried beans..whole wheat flour tortillas and a yogurt..the tortillas are the small ones So i had two burritos..no cheese or anything..which was 160 calories for the tortillas.. and 60 for the refried beans..thanks to Christa for the two sites..fitday.com and thedailyplate.com.. and then i had my yogurt which was 45 SOOO..so far today..its after noon..i have only had 265 calories..so its like duh no wonder why through the day i feel like i am so hungry..i am starting to realize just how important the snacks are...i just need to find me some good snacks now..i know veggies and fruits..and some have mentioned the string cheese! which i LOVE..but just had to post..

snacks are critical! some of my faves to keep in the fridge at work..... yoplait light yogurts tuna in the individual packs (no draining) turkey breast lunchmeat (watch the sodium content!) egg salad made with miracle whip light cottage cheese string cheese pre cooked chicken breast strips use the calculator on www.thedailyplate.com to help determine a starting point for your calories.  you put in your weight, activity level and the amount you want to lose and it gives you a daily goal.  If you also track your weight in TDP it will automatically adjust your calorie goal for you new weight as you go!
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
336.1 (8-1-07)/319.0 (12-28-07)/200 (goal for 12-31-08)/160 (goal)
Next mini goal is 290 by 1-31-08

Yeah string cheese is a have to have..and i keep yogurt at the house..and i keep turkey breast meat in there too..i just bring enough to work for the day so I can't over eat... Yeah i am going to have to go to that site and check it out..i figure when i get home..when i get the boys to sleep..i will log on there and check it out..sounds like its a really good site. I went on there to see the calories in refried beans which i thought was so cool that you could do that..so i will have to figure out what it says about how many calories i should be having a day.. Thank you for all the info..it helps!!

I like string cheese too. To give it a twist, I throw it in the microwave and get it semi soft.. and then pull it from the pack. Also you could eat it with some grape tomatoes plain or you can cut up a few grape tomatoes, add a couple tablespoons of pizza sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper and mix. Pull the warm cheese, eat a few spoons of the mixture together. Nice snack either way. -Bud
