You're right on many fronts and I agree it's someplace.  I just prefer efficient use of time and best results, so that's why I'd advocate more than walking.  I also think that some of the other options would deliver greater health benefits and faster weight loss to help improve the position of the person in regards to ability. I will say, don't think I didn't resist the hard work.  I went through months of adapting.  Once I saw the payoff I realized the power.

Oh if you're interested in tracking your calories....go to  www.thedailyplate.com  I find it ALOT more helpful than fitday.com  Dailypate you can enter your weight and how much you wanna lose and it will tell you how many calories you should be eating and plus you can find ANYTHING on that site if you ate it. Go ahead try it!!! I am on there. Sunset33. Look me up :)

Fitday does that (and more) if you do the download, not an online entry.

dailyplate does ALOT more if you download. But you get more outta dailyplate than fit day just logging online. IMO I highly recommend dailyplate over fitday. Fitday was a hassle for me it was a true pain in my ass to find the correct things that I ate.

so, we're saying downloads offer more ; ) I love Fitday's download.  It has absolutely everything and is quite accurate.   I wouldn't do the online version of either.

I agree. Dailyplate has more food offerings.  With fitday I had to know the ingredients in the foods I ate. With dailyplate I could plug in brand names and different dishes and get the nutrition facts. I suspect fitday works great for those who do all their own cooking and measure each ingredient. Just didn't work for me.   That being said fitday did seem to be a little more organized though.. not as user friendly but more organized.. weird? lol

Perhaps that's true.  I eat a clean diet and avoid many processed foods since t hey inhibit weight loss, so for me Fitday is perfect.  And if I have a labeled food, I just enter it into New Foods.

It's all healthy debate! :P  As you can see everyone is of many different opinions!  Take pieces of each and make your own way!  You know what will work for you! :P
