Feel like I am starving!!!
Alright..So Friday..I have started exercising and eating less to lose weight. I want to try my hardest to do this on my own.
This morning around 7:30 I had a sausage biscuit..wasn't that good for me i know..but it was leftover from sunday so I ate it..
Around 10:30 I was hungry again..which just seems insane to me..here i am trying to eat less and I seem to be hungry every couple of hours. And all I have been drinking is water! So if i start feeling hungry I try to drink water..hoping it will satisfy me..
Well alittle after 11 i just had to eat..So i had me a sandwich..a few chips..low in calories..and a peach yogurt..now on a typical day..by 3:30 i will be hungry again..i know some eat 6 small meals a day..but i guess since in my head it is all messed up of what a portion even is..i can't imagine eating 6 small meals a day..anyone have a example of their 6 small meals???
And maybe this is all normal since my stomach is stretched to be feeling like I am always starving.. this is just crazy..and i am a person that usually drinks 4 pops a day..and i haven't had one in a couple days now..its rough!! But i know i can do it..i think being hungry like this is normal so i try not to eat..and maybe i'm not taking in enough calories i dont' know..the sandwich i had was just around 150 calories..the yogurt was 45..the chips wasn't hardly any i'd have to eat 3 CUPS of them to eat get 100 calories..and then breakfast i dont have a clue how many that was..but i don't know..just need advice..and don tknow what i should do...
Help!
No. Hunger pains, as well as out of control appetite, are just the side effect of a bad program. You can lose weight, you can do it your own. You just should never feel hunger. Anyone who tells you differently doesn't know the truth behind weight loss.
I've posted repeatedly how to lose weight easily and for good and won't again since I already did today. But it's really simple.

Do you get up that early everyday and eat breakfast around that time? When I was doing something similar as you I would have snacks too. so I guess it would kinda be like 6 meals which is insane to me as well lol. I just always feel like I am eat WAY too much. Anyways. Fruit!!! Or a veggie. Say 10am comes around you're hungry....maybe an apple, orange, or some celery with peanut butter, or some carrots with ranch. You know something low in calories something to suppress the hunger. same with 3pm. Then ofcourse you also have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It helps. And yea if your taking in less food then you were prior to this your right your stomach is probably stretched and still needs to shrink down.
But maybe I am not giving good advice because ya know most of us on here know nothing about weight loss.....
Thank You Christa and Jerseygirl. My sister is a doctor and she lost a l ot of weight by counting her calories so jerseygirl i seem to disagree with you just alittle bit on that. And I can't afford to go to a gym or to have a person trainer..it would be nice but I have a family to worry about so all the exercise I get in is walking..which is fine to me because I know weight can be lost with just walking.
Christa.I think you are giving good advice..i know there are different things that work for different people..what may work for one..may not work good for another.. the fruit is a good idea..and I guess I need to just start having stuff like that on hand to be able to grab.. a friend of mine just told me to get those 100 calorie packs....but thank you both for your posts..weither i agree or disagree.. thank you for taking the time to write back.
Hopefully feeling this way goes away soon!!
and Christa to answer you...yeah I eat that time and sometimes earlier everyday..because of my job.. which my job is kinda against me because I am a receptionist so most of the time i am sitting at my desk..but that soon will change...i plan on going back to the kitchen here at this school and be a kitchen supervisor..so i will be on my feet more and be able to get in more walking which should help A LOT!!!

I know what you mean by sitting at a desk all day!!! Same here! I sit at my desk 8 hours a day lol. On this computer. Thats why I am excited for school I will be on my feet and when I graduate and start getting more clients and work in a salon I wont have to sit all day i will be standing all day lol.
You can lose weight via calorie counting, it's how low your calories go that matters. Most diets have too low calories for sustainable weight loss and result in yo-yo-ing or living forever in that window of restriction.
And no way am I saying everyone should have a trainer or gym. But walking should not be thought as something to get you fit. If you've been 100% inactive it will help a tad, but not a lot, IMO.

Argh, read again. It doesn't offer much in terms of caloric burn and time, nor much for overall fitness level. Sure, if you burn 300calories walking daily and are taking in the appropriate calories or even too few calories you can lose it. It's just not a best choice exercise. There are many ways that will get the lbs off, even over time, but healthier and/or best practice options.

Yea but I am sure some of us aren't even worrying about the FIT part right now. We just want the weight to go then worry about fitness and strength. Because I know for me I wont start worrying about toning or "fitness" until I am at a certain weight, then I will start working on the toning and what not. Plus if the body doesn't tighten up all the way....they made plastic surgeons for that. And I know for sure in due time...I will be visiting one for a few procedures...because I am not against any of that at all.
