LIPOTRIM - Anyone else on this diet??
Thank You for that:) Im glad to hear of your success. Im on the 3 shakes and do look at them as medicine. I try remove myself from all food, the problem is Im a mother and need to feed my kids. My husband is "trying" to help out, but it still falls back to me.
On the ketosis issue. I have done quite abit of research on it and know that one's liver and kidneys take quite a beating. Also protein and lean muscle gets used up as well. I know that this is not good for the metabolism in the long run. Should I be concerned? How long is safe? I read in a article - 14 days???? I need to be on for at least 2 months before I refeed and lose slower?
This concerns me because of my Thyroid condition?
Do you have any knowledge? I would appreciate any feedback
Thank You

I have never heard of Lipotrim to be honest. But I say do whatever works for you. I for one am taking a supplement. Even tho SOME don't believe in taking them it works for me so far...and after I finally get off of them I will continue to eat healthy and exercise and KEEP it off and stay on track. The only way to gain it back is if you go off plan and then just gorge yourself and not exercise and just throw everything out the window. So do what works for you and hang in there you will find it. :)
i have done the lipotrim diet a few times now and also currently on it
Its fast and you can lose aprox 7lbs a week, but it does require some willpower. After about a week you will find you are not as hungry as your glycogen supply diminishes. Stick with it as its worth it. I want to try and keep the weight off this time when i lose it so i can have a tummy tuck a year later as i think your body needs about a year to setttle down.

Hi TessC,
Stick with it, the dreadful feeling does go away. With most it takes three to four days, however mine lasted about a week(so my husband says). I started on the diet July 2007 and stuck with it for about 8 weeks. I lost just over two stone on the Total Food Replacement, but thats not the main benefit. My taste buds took a hammering. I was a lover of chocolate and all things sweet, now I can take it or leave it. I have developed a taste for fruit and fresh veg. I don't find the need to get a takeaway every weekend. Because of this change in taste I have lost another two and a half stone without Lipotrim. I have gone from a size 18/20 to a size 8/10 and it is wonderful. I don't mind now when I catch sight of myself in a mirror, I have taken an interest in clothes and I can just fo more.
So stick with it. It will be worth it.
