Today is Friday the first day of the weekend YAY! How is everyone gonna do this weekend plus Monday New Year's Eve? Gonna stay on track.....go off track.....well for me lets see. Today: Currently working, going to get an eye appointment and uh then I am gonna go pick up my best friend and we are headed to Detroit for the Piston's game I have free tickets!!!! I got them for Christmas. Eating wise...Hmmm lunch maybe I'll grab like I dunno if I am hungry I will grab something small. Dinner I know we are hitting up something quick so something healthy and small for me...lots of water. I am not buying anything at the game EXPENSIVE! Oh then after the game a friend of mine is celebrating his b-day at bar/bowling alley. I will head out there no drinking for me tho.  Saturday Cleaning my apartment, will exercise at the mall with my boyfriend because we will be shopping all day. I get my gift for X-mas that day and he gets his. I am getting a playstation YAY! He's getting new boots or whatever. And he has some gift cards to use. Then we are heading out to  dinner somewhere I am not sure where but I will order something normal and eat half of it. Sunday I am going to be doing hair and hmm if it isnt extra cold out maybe I will go for a walk. I will probably go grocery shopping and cook something for dinner who knows. Monday I am contemplating if I want to drink or not.  I honestly think I might not. I don't want to drink liquid calories. I might just stay sober. I am not sure yet. I believe I work that day. As for eating ofcourse something small somewhere thru out the day.  And maybe some cardio before the party! :) So I will stay on track :)

I'll go "off plan" on New Year's Eve-- I think I'll have some baked tortilla chips and queso. Maybe the old Chex Mix. But otherwise, I'm sticking to my 750 calories, 70g of protein.

Wow.. the weekend.. my biggest challenge is cooking for the kids (kids.. 21 and 23).  I do have eggplant parm and lasagne in the freezer that I made for them... and it takes nothing to whip up some sweet sausage for 'em. As for me: Today was the same as usual: Sausage and egg patty with a little cheese on it Lunch will probably be a half of a package of Oscar Meyer Shaved Turkey or however much I can shovel in. Dinner will be a couple of hamburger patties w/a side of steamed zuchinni w/romano on it. I eat the same way everyday, so that's not a problem.  New Years will be just another day around here.. .. and I wouldn't dare waste that bottle of Pinot Griggio on just myself.. tee hee. The gym is open until 8 on NY's eve so I'll work out there, then turn myself onto a tan, and work out at home on Tuesday where we'll eat status quo.  I'll work around the house, chop up the rest of the wood in the wood pile, clean the bathroom to within an inch of it's life.. and pass out.  My twin sisters' birthday is at midnight... so I'll try to stay up to make the midnight birthday calls.. hahha.. I'm getting old...  maybe I'll pretend there's a time difference and call earlier!  LOL

Well Christmas has passed and so I am ON PLAN.  no new years plans at all.  I offered to babysit for John's orchestra teacher so that may happen - otherwise it is just me and the boy at home :)
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
336.1 (8-1-07)/319.0 (12-28-07)/200 (goal for 12-31-08)/160 (goal)
Next mini goal is 290 by 1-31-08

Wiow, everyone is changing their avitars.  Shari, Violamom, Bud, Christa.  Maybe that's a good sign.  They look so different too.  At least I finally put mine up LOL...   New Years eve, no drinking for me.  I will probably go out to dinner though.  Lookout after that, Brenda is going to claim her prize and work on her new goal.  Brenda

Beleive it or don't...i HAVE spent many NYE sober as the pope! It is not that important to me to go out and get wasted, charming as it is for me! LOL  Lots of years, we stay home, no worse for the wear. However, I do plan to be with friends, a little quiet party with peeps i really love. I will be imbibing. I will commit karaoke. Til then:  On plan, basically.  Today, woke up feeling kind of wretched, but slowly got going, returned items from Xmas. Having my 2nd beer right now. Ate very little today, will eat leftovers for supper:  rib roast, church potatoes, fresh veggies, steamed. No exercise. Tomorrow:  one hour walk planned. Eating lightly.  No drinking. Sunday:  marathon bike ride i hope...weather permitting. walk if too rainy.  Making a beef barley soup that day! Monday:  working in the middle of the day.  Kick off day with 2 hour walk. Work day eats all day. party with friends that night.  We do dance a lot, too, so it's not like I will be a compleat barfly.  as IF! Tuesday:  NY day:  I love to make Hoppin John- blackeye peas, cornbread, collard greens for good luck. I make a very low fat version.  Hope to do a big hike that day!

I'm still sick so I'm staying mostly indoors.  Plus I'm broke, I spent wayyyy too much this Christmas.  I say I'm going to limit my shopping every year but it never seems to work.  These kids are rotten!  As for New Years, nothing to worry about.  I never really celebrate it, lol maybe watch the shows at midnight but that's about it.  Maybe I'll have a drink with my hubby if I'm off my meds by then.  Other than that...relaxation this weekend!!!!  And no more goodies!! :)
