Ya....  I'm the queen of obsessing over the scale.  I'm here to tell ya though that it'll drive you crazy.  I've also jumped back on the scale the next day and saw a GAIN!  Now THIS just flips me out, but I know that as I lose fat, I put fluid on... then WOOSH, and all is well in numberland. Congrats on the 28 lbs.  That was the very first number that meant anything to me when I started.   Lori

i do that sorta. i've lost 35lbs now. but i can't see it in myself. no real size change clothes wise yet. so i really don't FEEL like i've lost much of anything yet. but i've had friends tell me that they can notice a huge difference.

The scale is going to go  up and down regularly.  If you track it (I do in Fitday, so I have a graph I can watch), you'll see it's never 100% on a downward slope.  If you watch it too much, those up moments can drive you nuts and make you fear regain. Do I feel like it doesn't exist?  Some days.  But I just focus myself on the efforts, and forget about the results as much as possible.  I enjoy the ride, we'll take a look at the destinations along the way.....

28 pounds is marvelous! Just wonderful congrats!!!! I am like that when I get to certain numbers. I remember the time I seen 249 on the scale I about cried. But when I see it again sooner or later I will be excited!!!!  Keep it up!!! And I love your little quote about kicking life's ass! :)

Hmmm... Never doubted the scale before... Twenty-eight pounds is fantastic, though.  Congratulations!!

I have done just about all thoughts possible with the scale. Hate, love, obsession, glee, tearjerking...but, far more negative than positve.  I still pick up the largest size i used to wear when I clothes-shop.  It amazes me that i buy mere larges, even have some mediums in my closet! You are doing fantastic....that is an inspirational (to us and to you!) amount to lose from mid-November.  wow.
