Before things get to busy I'd like...

To tell you ALL how much I have appreciated you, your strength and your friendships! You have all truly helped me through the past 4 months (TODAY!) that I've been working at this WL. I also wanted to tell you all that I have uploaded my Christmas card into my profile and I'm wishing each and every one of you a happy and healthy holiday season! It's very busy time and I might be on here hit & miss after today so I wanted to tell you now :) I also  uploaded a couple pics of myself... nothing great- but you can see where I was 25 years ago and then 6 months ago- before I began WW. I hope to get a decent picture when I hit 35 or 40 pounds lost :)  I have none so far since I've begun this journey! (I have dodged cameras for years!) So my friends... I am counting  the MINUTES till I am OFF tonight! Right now is nap time and though I love every one of these little buggers in my care... I am VERY excited to have a whole week (plus!) OFF!  My vacation begins as soon as they are all picked up! (4:30 p.m.) in 1.5 hours!!!!   I am so sick of vacuuming GLITTER and scrubbing glue off things!  It's been FUN... but it is TIME.  As far as I know- I am actually off  until Dec 31! Tomorrow is dh's company holiday dinner- we're having prime rib and baked potato... oh joy! That was the only option besides chicken so that it is! I'll eat my salad &  potato first and a little meat... maybe I'll even have a DRINK?! We'll see! I don't drink but maybe once a year (if that) and that is like only a couple, so I think I can handle that :) I just want to have FUN :) Anyhow! Take care! Have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! And an even GREATER (HEALTHIER!) 2008!!!! Holiday (((((Hugs))))) to you all!!!!!!!!!!

You are so sweet!  Thank you for the nice words. I may not post a lot, but I read (just about) every post put on this board.  I've learned so much from everybody.  And I appreciate all of you, too.   Hope everyone has a very blessed, merry Christmas and an even better 2008!!!! Aww I liked that, your so nice.  But where are you going?  Are you not coming on here at all during your vacation?  Either way have fun and enjoy your family.  I hope you have the greatest Christmas ever.

 

Such a thoughtful post.  I've been very thankful for the boards as well.  I may not respond to every post but I learn so much from many of them.  Sometimes the posts get me off my butt and make me keep going and sometimes they make me remember that I need to give myself a break sometimes. I wish you health and prosperity for you and your family over the holidays and in the year ahead!
