I may be nuts, but I have a week off, so I'm going to go into intense training: 

Monday 12/24 Gym holiday schedule

  Calisthenics/Core program    Treadmill 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration

Tuesday 12/25 Gym holiday schedule

     Calisthenics/Core program       Treadmill 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration

Wednesday 12/26

  •     Training

    Class options: 

  •     Mat Pilates
  •     Hard Core Abs or Hatha Yoga

Thursday 12/27

  •    Boot Camp
  •    Calisthenics/Core program
  •    Cardio machines 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing   duration
  •    Sports Training

Friday 12/28

  •    Calisthenics/Core program 
  •    Cardio machines 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration
  •    Deep Water Aqua

Saturday 12/29

  • Training
  • Cardio machines 30-40 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration

Sunday 12/30

  •    Calisthenics/Core program
  •    Cardio machines 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration
  •    Swim (8-20 lengths)

Monday 12/31 Gym holiday schedule

  •    Training 
  •    Cardio machines 30-40 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration

Tuesday 1/1 Gym holiday schedule

  •    Calisthenics/Core program
  •    Cardio machines 45 minutes, sprint sessions every 5 minutes for growing duration
  •    Swim (8-20 lengths)

Sprint sessions, I've been doing 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off in 20 minutes per machine (arc/wave/row/steps; unless I'm home and then it's only treadmill the whole time) and during the 5 minute sprinting doing 30-60 sec sprint, 60-120sec rest. 

ODDLY, I'm looking forward to this!

Color me jealous! Wish work was not in my way. However, I will have some short work afternoons, and a couple of Fridays off. Weather permitting, marathon-length hiking and biking in my winter break future.  I may go snowshoeing, too!  No oddly to it, in my book.  Sounds fun!

Well, that's the whole idea ... if you're grumbling and mumbling the whole way, you won't keep doing it, and you won't sustain your weight loss. I am planning to take Christmas Day off from exercise -- it will be my first day off since late October or early November but plan to work out hard the rest of the week.
