Right, Shari! I definitely know what you mean. I too have become more accepting of what is needed to *do* to keep weight from creeping up. Cheating is not a good word - choosing food off my plan captures it much better.
I trust myself more to allow cravings and to plan what i need to eat in light of that.
I know that balanced nutrition is the true goal, not indulgence.
I'm learning that the chocolate craving or the potato chip craving will pass, if i just try to let it pass. 10 minutes waiting to check my true motivation is all I typically need. 90% chance i will not want it if I check it for a spell.
If I *need* some food thang, I plan for it. It is easy as we make it to be.
