Abstinence - Day 305
I dropped out of sight on the board for about two weeks, since I couldn't connect to the internet. A friend of mine just fixed our computer today, so voila! I am back. I've lost down to 268 pounds now, leaving me at a total of 26.5 pounds lost so far!
Breakfast
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup 1% milk
2 cups coffee
20 oz. water
(I'm having no fruit, since I'm having to fulfil the requirements of a stool sample test. No oranges, no bananas, no red meat, no Vitamin C, etc.)
Lunch
Country-fried steak (didn't realize until after I started eating it that I goofed up on the no red meat requirement. Oh well, I'll just start over tomorrow).
Peas
Fruit ****tail
Rice with gravy
2 medium whole wheat pita breads
16 oz. water
Dinner
A frozen meal (shrimp, rice, fruit, vegetable)
1 large Slimfast Bar
1-1/2 cups 1% milk

Today my food:
1/2 protein bar (80caloires/15 g protein)
the other half couple hours later
1 c vegetarian chili (80 calories)
1 bag protein chips (110 cal)
1 c steam broccoli
1 proticinno (80 caloires)
1/2 c fresh veggies on a plate in breakroom (not all bad stuff in there! LOL)
3 ounces pork chop - braised in water, spices
1 large sweet potato, plain
1 c salad + lite blue cheese dressing
Exercise: 45 minutes calisthentics, yoga
Had a reminder that my food compulsion is alive and well, just lurking. Saturday's choices at supper were shameful for me. I sneak-snarfed food on my way home from getting a burger for DH and I. I had a day where i felt scared and kind of futile...kind of a why try day. And I gave into it.
The bright side is, I remember to not let that one choice rule my self esteem. It will be a long time before I give into that again!
