You know the repercussions.  Just wish you weren't in it for the short term fix.

Its not a short term fix. I am eating healthy and not hungry. And working it off as well. It has worked before....why can't it work again and keep working if I stay with it? For the first time I have went a  whole year with out going up a pant size but losing a pant size and keeping it there. I have not gained back my 20 pounds I lost already...I might fluctuate back and forth 3-5 pounds but...I have kept it off. So what works for me.....works for me.

It is a short term fix if at your weight you are eating so little and exercising it all off and then some.  THere's a reason the Biggest Losers regain.  They set the body up for failure with the caloric deficit.  Yours should be calculated by including your BMR and your exercise deficit then subtract 300-500 calories. If your BMR is 2000 and eat 1000 calories, you're at a 1000 calorie deficit.  Add in your exercise at say 800 calories and you're now at an 1800 calorie deficit.  Lots of people presume that will then give them 1800/dayx7=3lbs+/week.  But, even if it works in the immediate, you've now trained your metabolism to exist on 1000 calories.  When you start eating normally (normal female intake is 1800-2000 calories) you will regain at just as fast a clip, 3 lbs/week. It's not that I'm trying to tell you how to do things, just make you aware of the long term price on your metabolism.

Believe me, BTDT.  Lost 65 lbs and regained 45 of it back and then couldn't lose for years in spite of "proper restriction". I want the best for you, even if you find me annoying.

I dont really ever plan on eating 1800-2000 calories. Because I would just gain. I imagine usual life will be 1200-1500. Which I have come to be ok with. I dont need all that food I used to eat. Its all about input and output. Whatever I put in....can be burned right back off.... Plus I am the youngest of the group if I actually stick with this which you know what I really think I will...I should drop at a pretty good pace. I don't think I am going to lose like they do on the Biggest Loser that's just insane.  I mean really insane!!!! So I am gonna eat my yummy food and work out and be happy with my life :)

Not gaining it back counts for something in my books. Brenda

Lol, you crack me up.  I was laughing while reading this.  Changes from low carb, low cal, to low cal, watching carbs.hehe    I like what someone said, a step further and then you fall, when you stand back up your still ahead.  Your doing great, your staying in the ball game and that's what counts.

Have you thought about smoothies in the morning?  You could put some whey protien in it, frozen fruit, etc.  You can eat it on the go.  I have even put oatmeal in it before, and peanut butter! :)  Well not in the same smoothie, but you know what I mean. :)
