RU keeping your program alive this weekend?

I am doing okay! Hmmm, laughing because a date with a senior, just like in high school, is still hot!  My DH and I had the most perfect date last night! After work, he met me at Starbucks, and then we walked in my fave hilly area, which ends up in a Xmas-y neighborhood all aglow!  The evening light was amazing on the fall colors in these canyons in this area.  Talk about romantic! Then...we got a 10" pizza.  We ate half there while we drank a pitcher of beer. Took the rest home, watched Waylon Jennings in concert on tv, danced a lil, had a snack a few hours later with a couple more beers.  My Friday food was extremely light, except for our supper.  Too light, but my day was rockin and rollin.  Today:  housework, attending a funeral, perhaps friends over tonight. We will grill shrimp and scallops, rice salad, awesome bread. Sunday:  marathon bike ride or urban hike, not sure which just yet.  How ya all doing out there????

How romantic!  That sounds like so much fun.  I wish we had little places like that here.  My week has gone actually very good.  Last night dh and I went Christmas shopping and out to a buffet Chinese/Thai place.  Yea, dangerous!  But, I tried to keep everything in 1/2 or 1/4 c. measurements so I could come home and calculate it into points.  I hardly ate anything yesterday so I had a lot of points left.  My god chinese is fattening, I think I ended up using up 46 points yesterday!  But, I haven't used any extra weekly allowance points so I'm good to go.  I'm not gonna use anymore of them though I don't think.   Think Im just going to try to use it maybe once if any, a week and call it good.  It just seems like so much food! 

As for this weekend, I think it will be more Christmas shopping and more house decorating.  I already planned both tonights and tomorrow nights dinner so I can work around those.  So I'm good to go! :)  Just need to try to get in my water.   It makes me remember when I was on medifast, I use to be cold all the time.  Water makes me cold!  And I refuse to drink warm water.

Ps..If you don't mind I would love to hear what you put in your rice salad. :)

I can't wait till these holidays are O-V-E-R!  I can't stay on any kind of program when I'm going to parties and dinners, etc.  The temptation is too damn hard on me! Last night I had a party with my close girlfriends.  We went out to eat, where one of 'em ordered a huge appetizer tray (fried seafood galore), so after eating some of that (we were starving) I ordered a seafood salad for my entree.  They got margaritas, but I passed on that.  Not too bad.  Then we went to a houseparty to open gifts, where they brought out peanut butter and chocolate fudge, dips and chips.  Well hours later after my dinner went down, I wanted something sweet.  Man!  I love peanut butter fudge. Then to top it off, one of my gifts was a basket full of peanut butter and choc. fudge!  Horrors!!!!!!! I had to bring it home with me.   Then some of my stocking stuffers were a huge Hershey's bar and other small sized choc. candy bars.  Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!  I know ya'll will say, "Just give this stuff away to a neighbor.  Blah, blah, blah.  Well, I don't want to.  I want to eat it ALL!!!! Now, tomorrow I have a pot luck dinner.  That should be challenging, too. I want to be back to normal in my little cocoon house with no temptations around. Well, gotta go take a long walk now.  It's the very least I can do. Bren Come on January!  I'm looking forward to ya!

I'm going out for Thai tonight.  At least it will be easy to stay on program.  Worst case, I have Hard Core Abs and cardio tomorrow, so that will counter any indulgences.

"Watched a Waylon Jennings concert," is that what the kids are calling it these days?! I sort of kept the program alive this weekend...got a full body workout in yesterday, which I am really happy about! Today I did not exercise, which was planned pretty much. However I am feeling a little weird about that so I need to think up a light Sunday commitment for myself. I do like to move in some way on Sundays but walking isn't really an option now because it is freaking COLD here!!! Sad. I used to be obsessed with winter but I'm really not feeling it at the moment. Food...within my calorie target but too much crap! I don't regret it though. Anyway I ate a lot of watercress and arugula in my homemade mango salad tonight so at least I end on a positive note. I want the mental fresh start of January 1 NOW! Can't wait.

LOL, your funny.   I'm gonna try, but I have no idea how I'll do this month.  So far so good is all I can say for the moment.  I love it when you said "well I don't want too, I want to eat it all. "  I started laughing, I vision a little kid with a hersey's behind her back while her mothers telling her "no!" hehe
