I hate bleachers

Tonight is my son's school concert.  I am looking forward to hearing him play... but man I hate bleachers...  LOL

My sister refers to these as the 'sore arse' concerts...  LOL  ... I must say it is easier to get excited about the youth symphony program Sunday afternoon at the posh theater downtown where the realy symphony plays than it is to be excited about sittin on the bleachers.  How did we manage it in Jr. High?  Our butts were smaller and yet we werent near as uncomfortable! Truth is there is nothing I love more than seeing my son play... but my rear wants out of the deal!   

Oh man I feel for ya.  My oldest, who just graduated last year, played since fourth grade.  I hate those bleachers.  Not only your butt, but they some how kill your back!    It makes me feel so old.  He's starting to talk about joining the Anchorage Symphony, Lol my back was the first thing I thought of..ha

I'll bet the Anchorage Symphony plays in a decent theater....  it is only these school concerts  in gyms that are so bad! John is planning to Audition with the Couer d'Alene Symphony in a couple of years (you have to be 16 to play)  For now just school and Spokane Youth Symphony...  I keep telling him that he owes me a comp ticket to every concert he plays as an adult - fair price for all the driving to lessons, etc that I do now :) BTW the concert was pretty good and thankfully only lasted about an hour...

You'd think our extra padding would make them more comfortable ; )

  

What's worse than bleachers? ... The seat of a spin bicycle!  HATE THEM.

LOL gotta agree with that!

I won't even take a spin class because I can't fathom how my fat ass can fit on one of those things.

I took one once and though you're supposed to remain in a standing bicycle position much of the time, 40 minutes in I was praying to God for the next 20 to end soon!

Even if those seats were comfortable for my butt I wouldn't take a spin class. PASS!
