I feel like a PIG :(   I feel FULL... FAT... & BLAHHH!        I had a huge baby show3er for my niece today. It was an absolute HIT!  Very GOOD shower! Lots of FAMILY - FRIENDS - FUN...... and unfortunately---- FOOD! Now I KNOW- it was because I didn't take the TIME to eat right today. I woke, got right up and got my house cleaned, organized & decorated for the shower. I had no time to concentrate on ME. So I ATE. I ate a LOT of Harvest Wheat Thins and spinach dip. not sure HOW it was made but I know there was cream cheese. HOPEFULLY- it was low fat? :(  Also ate a slice of bread with low fat cream cheese and veggies all over it--- LOVED that!!!   But, that was my breakfast-lunch & supper! I also drank one cup of punch... with a dobble of orange sherbet floating in it AND about 1/4 cup of chocolate cake (&3 dinner mints).  Not nearly the WATER I should drink- but will work on that before I hit the bed :) (it's only 7:45 p.m. here)   I just figured it out on WW and it looks like I ate about 29 points of the 23 I'm suppose to eat.... but I hadn't used up my extra 35 so---- but just not smart to use them the DAY BEFORE weigh in :)  grrrrrr Anyhow- the stress here is OVER now. I have known we had this shower to do and I've been really stressing about it. Now life should be normal (except for a licensor "pop-in" I heard is about to happen with my job!)  Other than that- Christmas and normalcy!!  Our weather is COLD this weekend! The temps are above zero but the wind chill temps are between -8 and -12. I hate it!  It's suppose to warm up by Thursday and snow through Sunday! Ohhhhh Joyyyy!!!  But it's better than the cold :(

You know, it's funny.  When you look at what you and "pointed" out with WW, it's not a whole heck of  a lot.  I know for me it's eating the foods high in fat, sugar, etc, that make me feel that sick and bloated feeling.  I can eat my planned out foods and feel fine.  These foods can be my total caloric intake for the day.  But if I ate the same calorie count with foods that are not normal for me, I feel crappy and bloated.  Heck sometimes I eat these foods that aren't normal to my day and they actually are less than what I'd normally consume calorie wise. For me I think it's my body not having those foods put into it for such a long time and then eating something like that.  I HATE that bloated feeling and sugar makes me physically ill, so I try at all costs to avoid that.  But heck, you had a wonderful day and that's all that mattered.  I'm sure you are feeling better already!!! Donna and yes it's cold here too.  2 hour delay with school today.  Yeeeee haaaa (I work at a school. LOL)

Intersting, Donna! I had a similar day to mama's yesterday.  As you say, the calories were not all *that* high, but the types of food chosen made me feel so bloaty all day. Water almost made it worse, and finally i had a cup of hot coffee that me feel somewhat better! When those incidents occur, it serves as a lesson that that stuff is not fun anymore, and our better choices, while mundane at times, are the best direction to go. I make sure i focus on how bloaty I feel, and make sure I correlate that feeling right up to the culprits! I pulled my day out of the toidy by having 1 c blueberries, a sliced banana and activia yogurt for supper! By the time bedtime came around, i felt okay with the world.

Let it be a moment that's in the past.  Get right back to doing what works.  Up your water, of course and remember when these day**** to do cardio first, if you can.  Burn it off before it ever crosses your lips.
