Weekend survival plans
Cool..I was coming here to post this very thing! Thanks, Sonora! My food Friday work day was unusual for me: Walked at lunch at my meeting, 20 minutes...that's it. Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.: 1/2 fish taco (river cod from oregon, lightly pan fried), no cheese, just salsa on it. Somenody made it and insisted i taste it - luckily i had dashed out of the house with no breakfast at all, so i did it. Snack 1: 9:00 a.m. : 1/2 protein bar + i small banana at day long meeting Lunch: 11:30 am: 1/2 baked chicken breast + 1/4 c couscous + 1c spinach salad, light dressing + 1/2 c strawberries Snack 2/1:30pm: 1/2 protein bar 430 p.m. afternoon: 1/2 pb sandwich, 1/2 almind granola bar later on after that. Last night, eh....coulda been better. Right when I got home last night at 5:30ish: Did not help that dh had made clam dip, don't ask, cream cheese, lemon, etc, and some rice chips laying out. I ate 3Tbls of that evil stuff and a good serving and a half of chips. DH made some fantastic fried chicken - i ate 1/2 large breast and picked at another one + 1/2 c yukon gold mashed potatoes (nf milk, tiny bit o butter) + 1/2 c gravy mix + 1 c brussel sprouts and carrot coins with SB cheese on it + 3 beer Michelob light (two beers before supper) Saturday plans: DH Xmas party - a dres up affair! I need a dress for this and another thing in january, but if I don't find one today, i have stuff to wear. We dance until we drop - at least i do! I will eat one plate of buffet food, heavy on veggies. Drinking gin tonight. Today: I better get out and make up my half assed walk from friday. 1 hour would be good. Lighter food today - have some miso & spinach, fresh pears, cottage cheese, hi fiber cereal around here...stuff like that. Sunday: marathon walk! 2 hours at least. Food as veggie/fruit filled as i can make it til supper. May make the last of the turkey, maybe an ala king?
