My week gets  an A in food management. My fruits/veggies were up, portions awesome. This week's fruit vegg report:  2x fuju persimmons, 2x fresh pears, 3x mandarins, 2x radicchio, 1x romaine, 1x fresh strawberries, 1X froz blueberries, 3x frozen spinach, 1x mustard greens, 1x corn, 1x yukon potato, 1x broccoli, small amounts of fresh aspargus, mushrooms, red bell, zuccini, peas, and of course, tomato sauce & tomatoes! Even went out to birthday luncheon and had 1/4 c hulled peanuts, 1/3 of an appetizer with steamed broccoli for my plate.  Suppers have been a reasonable size, not tiny, but not over size.  Finally, I got sick of hearing myself whine about it. My workday food has been cosnistent; i am trying to make sure i eat a little something so i do not get too hungry.  Exercise: same-o same-o, great.  Moving forward, i need to keep it up with the concentrating on regular small meal thangs that I do in my work day.

It sounds like you have everything well in hand! My week went well..  I was stalled for a while but I have begun to lose again.  I've learned that rx medication will stall a loss rather quickly.  I've learned that I can eat lots of broccoli if I put romano on it!  .   I've learned that my muscles remember me. I've learned not to say too much.. EVER  .. LOL   Sugar is near normal...  very close Vision is clearing Skin is clear I've learned that good things come, all it takes is just a little patience.   310/254/180 Hope everyone is doing well! God bless you all! Lori

I am terrified of persimmons...they're supposed to be really yummy, right? But they look like tomatoes and I hate raw tomato. Exercise went well this week. I jogged my first 12:15 minute mile! I wasn't TOTALLY dying at the end either. It may not be much to some, but I don't believe I have ever done that in my life...it was a nice boost. I am getting my RMR tested in a couple of weeks...not because I suspect anything's wrong (other than the fact I think it's messed up I don't burn 12,000 calories an hour and have the ability to live on jumbo organic milkshakes and champagne) but because I think it is going to help me be way less compulsive. That should be really interesting...

I've always wanted to get my RMR tested. Where will you have yours done? I think maybe local Kinesthetics classes at the University might do it, but I am not sure...

Resting Metabolic Rate, indeed-y...I am actually getting it done at a spa in Arizona because I am going on vacation there! Not to the spa though! I also believe I could have had it done at the bariatric division of a university hospital here. There are a lot of options where I live...but I found them all by Googling. You should try if you are interested. Shari, you are close to Philly right? If there's nothing RIGHT where you live, I bet there's something in Philly... I actually can't wait for it! Weird!

To see what I learned/realized, read my latest blog "H2O and light bulb moment".  Silly, but true. Something that went well:  I stuck to my gym committment of Mon, Wed, and Friday, plus I went on Thursday and Saturday).   I could have eaten better.  Could have been worse, but definently could have been better.

Well, last Sunday I had a sobering post-Thanksgiving gain of 2.2 lbs.  I didn't really overeat on TG -- but I ate some salty stuff at dinner and a big loss the week before. I worked out every single day.  Two days I walked a treadmill instead of Turbo Jam b/c DH's vehicle is in the shop.  I walked a little extra and made sure I got in all my water.  There were two events at work where food was served and I ended up not having anything other than diet soda or water (I'm on WW's Core Plan and most of the food served was not Core). I was trying to brace myself for another gain (TMI alert) because this is my third week of BCPs, about 10 days before TofM, (end TMI alert) but I ended up losing 1.4 lbs.  A pretty good ending for me.  I am still about 8 lbs from goal and if I plan carefully I can do it this month!
