Busy, Busy Bee
Well, it's the end of the semester for me and things are really hectic. You'd think that with everything I have to do, such as two papers, a test, and a project all due this week alone, I wouldn't have time to eat or worry about my weight so much. But I'm finding it to be the opposite.
I survived Turkey Day, but probably because I had a migraine or a sinus headache. Whatever it was, I was pretty much out for the count as far as food goes.
But now finals are fast approaching and I'm finding myself snacking more and more. I'm beginning to wonder if it wouldn't be so bad to look into some SWL options. Not just because I'm stressing out over finals, but because I'm tired of fighting with my body. I dunno. I guess I'm just preoccupied with all kinds of things since the end of the semester tends to bring everything stressful to a head, including weight loss.
I guess this is more a rant than anything else. But if I'm not on again for a while, you'll know why. I'll be a busy, busy bee studying for finals, among other things.
I remember those days! Not so long ago, around age 40, i got my Business BA - while working a 50 hour week on top of it all. I would be the last to go to bed in my neighborhood and one of the first to rise each day. What is weird is that...I did it. I do half that amount these days, and still ***** about how busy I am!
Time is relative. During these times, it is so important to work out (even 3x weekly) and eat the best foods. Now more than ever, you need a good base for your health. At night school, I would walk on my breaks while others chomped on candy bars and soda. Make sure you bring a sandwich or make other better plans for food. Yes, it is another step, but if you prioritze it, it will happen.
