I ate toooo much. When I review it all, it makes sense - we had to eat later in the day and I let myself get a little too hungry for supper.  I should have not had the second plate of about a half cup of sausage stuffing and 1/2 c green bean casserole, then a small piece of dutch apple pie - it put me over the top, and I was not comfortable. Dum But I did move a lot, and my daytime food was good.  I ate a hearty breakfast of two pieces sourdough toast, no butter + 1 egg beater egg + lean ham + fruit salad.  Two puff pastry thingies at about 3 p.m. + whole grain chips + salsa.  About three crackers with artichoke dip - very high fat, piled up. Only had 3 stiff gin & diet tonics, two beers over 5 hours.

Well, let me be the first to say that I don't really think you blew it! While there's no need to lie to yourself by saying the portions were perfect, or whatever...I know you are so grounded when it comes to the philosophy of jumping back on the wagon...that I wouldn't worry! If you can truly enjoy your food rather than letting it guilt you into oblivion, it IS health food :) Happy Thanksgiving!

Yea, I'm right there with you.  Oh well..!  I've already got my ww book out planning out the day.  I've been on it numerous times before, but it looks like they changed a few things.  I also went in this morning to get my weight fixed (that they messed up).  So now I'm back on track for the week.  I've been hesitating on what plan to follow.  I pretty much live like the core plan.  BUT, I think I need to count the points for  a while since my portion control is out of whack.  That is where my problem is, fast food and portion control.  So flex for a while it is!! :)

What I'm wondering is WHO actually did good!!

It doesn't sound all that bad to me! I think you did pretty darned well from the sounds of it! I REALLY REALLY blew it! I ate whatever I wanted and that was kinda dumb! Cause I felt like crud when I went to bed!   And even this a.m. I' feeling icky and sluggish. I'm MAKING myself take in ALL my water and hopefully that will help flush out the yuck I stuffed my body with!  You on the other hand... you sound like you were in GREAT control!!

Don't feel bad.  Did you see my 280th day of abstinence - with a question mark.  I ate ALOT!  I always do on Thanksgiving, because I want to taste everything they have, and they had quite a smogasbord!  But I'm back on track today, so who cares! Denise Phares/kitties4

You see it as blowing your diet?  I see it differently.

I see it as you were just 'sight seeing' in your weight loss journey.

What would a journey be without stopping to see the sights once in a while?

That is life.  If we 100% stuck to a regime wouldn't that just be too boring?

What makes you different is that you know that it's time to get back on the road and keep going in on your weight loss journey.
