I hit mine yesterday-- which Kris set for me back in July-- I am at 247...41 days early. How's everyone else doing? Healthy? Staying on task? Ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas? I'm slogging along. One thing I know for sure-- no one in this gig is doing it "the easy way" because there IS no "easy way."

Hey Shari - so good to see you! I had considered pm-ing you, but my time has been very limited. If you have time off this next week, maybe we can get into chat?????? Wow, that is very cool to hit 247.  Man alive, that is amazing. Have you taken pics????? My little science project????? HMMMM? As for me, I could be more attentive to my supper intake.  I've had more successes lately at that. I am still not eating enough all day long, so duh, no wonder my suppers are rather large. I will weigh in officially December 10, so will let you know then. I am buying size 12's, which makes me extremely happy. Work has been a nightmare, and i have been out of town 2 days of two weeks - each. While out, can't say my food was great, but not horible, and my exercise was awesome - long walks in the mornings before the day long sitting on the ass meetings. I am doing okay on the ball crunches- push up goal. Trying hard to do it 2x a week. Doing excellent on my walks and long weekend workouts - this past Sunday, did a 2.5 hour walk in very hilly terrain.  I will go off plan on Thanksgiving Day and Xmas day, but all other days, stay within reason.

I have two goals -- to hit 155 (2 more pounds) and to hit my official goal of 150 (7 lbs).  I'm confident about the first, not sure of the second even though I just started WW's Core Plan.

Hey Shari.... Glad to read from you... we were beginning to think you had evaporated away on us!!!  You are missed 'round here!! I do not even remember my end of the year goal.... I think it was 30 pounds... I think but anyhoo... I am at 265 and about another 7 pounds away from that....  I vowed not to gain a pound over Thanksgiving... and I mean it... I just learned the gym is open Thursday... so I think I am gonna start my day out at the gym before we go caravaning to the various eating activities!!

Shari, I am doing good. My knee doc even noticed the loss since he first saw me back in August. I was pleased :). Also yesterday, I bought new clothes. Large shirts & 40 waist pants. Right now the scales are in the lower 40s to upper 30s. I'm hoping this doesn't change when I go home for Thanksgiving. I just got off the phone with my mom for my cooking list. I am fixing Eggplant w/ Marinara for Tksgiving w/ Garlic Bread. I am allowing myself one I don't give a da@m meal. My problem will be the holiday graze.. You know its out on the stove, you walk into the kitchen every 20 minutes to see what you can devour, lay down, sleep. Repeat. The goal is 230 or 225 by EOY. I dont care where it lands, long as it is within that range come hell, high water, protein shakes, or colonics! I will be home 3 weeks for Christmas, and that's when all the damage is done. I am going to take Neecee's idea of getting up and faithfully exercising every morning during that time. Then I'll start new 2008. Also congrats on the losing, you are doing well!

Congrats, Shari! You GO. My goal was 60 pounds for 180. Le sigh...I have failed. I wouldn't mind so much if it hadn't been PREVENTABLE. With good food I could have knocked it out of the park, since I've been working out a lot. Alas, I had too much trouble with binges. I am going for onederland instead.
