vitamin supliment advice?

I'm starting another "official " attempt at changing to a healthier lifestyle, and hopefuly losing weight at a slow and steady pace. I'm eating regular food, just making better choices, and being concious of portion control. I've heard its good to take daily supliments as well.   Advice anyone?

I guess your asking what type of supplements?  If so, I was told by a doctor to take a multi vitamin with iron daily, 1000 mg of calcium a day (can even take more if you live in Alaska :) ), and if on a really low cal plan 90-110 mg of potassium a day.

Myself, I just take the multi vitamin with iron and calcium pills.  I figure I can get the rest of my potassium from foods I eat during the day.
